Made from 4mm shatterproof perspex(Lexan) measures 3"x3"x9"

Here it is in use with my new Firefly POPs :-

I think it looks pretty good....busy day at work for me tommorow now ;-) lol (I also made the shelve's from the same perspex awhile back)

Love this! I've been looking around online and in stores for various shelves and risers but I just realized I should probably ask my dad if he has any scraps from work! :D

As per my previous post had a busy day at work and made 5 more Risers :D ...... they now come in 3 sizes 3"x3"x6", 3"x3"x9" and 3"x3"x12".......here's a few pics:-

IMG_20150304_151413738.jpg

and a few shots of them in use, the 6" can do 3 or 4 pops the 9" 5 or 6 and the 12" 7 or 8 depending on how arranged, they are really easy to make if you know anyone with access to materials and a guillotine and bender.

Was thinking of maybe getting the Funko logo on the front of em but dunno if they do logo stickers or of a way i could make some...Any suggestions?

I like the clean look; think any writing or decals would detract from the overall display.

Does your bender have a protractor so you can measure the bend angle? Ours is old and you just have to bend it to the correct angle by eye. It also smokes cigars and drinks too much...

Haha sounds like ours only angle adjustment is permanent marker marks to show roughly every 10' it was built sometime in the 50's....also the design of the bender is why the front is at about 95' not 90 its bends that side back out when you bend the back side to 90'....Guess we both work for cheapskates :-) hell our hydraulic press is world war 2 surplus built in america in 1943.

Very awesome! My daughter is 9, and collecting Pops is "our thing". Excellent bonding over hunting down Pops and shared excitement in finding new/rare ones. She also has an area for Littlest Pet Shop! They are on similar risers, only I spray painted them pink and purple hehehe

My collection has more than quadrupled since I last posted, so I figured I'd share. My Marvel boxes are all on the top. The rest are on another shelf. My non-Marvel pops are kind of squished at the moment. I'm actually contemplating boxing up some books/movies to make more room for my pops. :D

Been working on displaying my collection and finally got "some" of it finalized:

Had this POP! case made for my Disney POPs. Same guy made me a case for my Star Wars action figures. Of course since I ordered it, I have too many Disney POPs to fit in it but this houses most of them (Frozen has its own shelf elsewhere along with some others..)

2242222421

And also got all of my Ponies up too! Had this shelf made by a guy on Etsy - he loved the idea of making it for My Little Ponies :)

That's a gorgeous case, and a lovely collection! I'm looking for somewhere I can buy custom signs (I was thinking tin rectangle plates, but I'm flexible), but I'm having trouble finding anywhere that will do them. I'm building my own display case for my Marvel pops that will hold 50-60 in little set pieces (I've for loss of little groupings in mind already!), but I'm having trouble finding the signs I want, does anyone have suggestions where I can get them made up? UK shipping as well.

Hey Folks..... so i had some spare time at work today so i did a re-design on the display risers i have been making to turn them into a 2 step riser made one out of Lexan again and tried a stainless steel one aswell :-

So what do you think?.....anybody has ideas they want to share with me to improve them?..which do you think looks better the clear lexan or the Stainless?.

I think they are both great display risers. The stainless riser is really clean and sleek. I'd go with that one if I had to choose.

I think the stainless would look thematically, like for Alien or Predator - any type of gritty sci-fi on-a-spaceship- type pop really.

Yeah that thought had occured to me have Locutus and Cylon on pre-order and keep meaning to get alien, predator, Robby the robot and Robot B9..not to mention the Doctor who preorders they would all look pretty good on the stainless risers i think.

Probably make a couple more of each when time allows...go with the clear risers for marvel/DC, GoT, Walking dead etc.

I definately prefer OOB display and part of the fun of collecting for me is to make a nice display.
