Well, I contact Funko about these. 99% certain I won't get a response, but hopefully this shows some interest in the product and helps them get released in some form.

I’ve heard good stories about people ordering for chases but usually only when they have a good relationship with the employees. But I’ve also heard a bunch more stories about employees screwing with mystery boxes so theres that too

yeah, they're good and bad relationships with retailers.... and collectors too can be a handful.... I don't abuse their preorder system.... I've heard stories of people preordering 6 to try for a chase and cancel 5 meaning the store is stuck with 5 extra in their inventory which causes a backlog and less of a chance of them getting more inventory in stock in the future

I don't have any inside info but if I had to make and educated guess...I'd say they are going to do this at some point since they were in GS system...maybe there was a license issue or maybe they deciyto release them somewhere else but either way I'm sure someday they will be a reality!!

I didn't want to face reality but I went into my Gamestop to check on this pre order and they finally were able to tell me that they were cancelled. I was holding out until they got a definitive answer but at least now I have extra $$$ for FDO Vegas.
