Re: What is your Favorite Convention Exclusive?
SDCC 2015 was my first SDCC after I started collecting right after SDCC '14 unfortunately. And I did so much to get Batman Conan then I think that's my favorite convention exclusive. Dunno if those ppl are in here but, before the market even set itself, this all happened on the last day of SDCC:
Someone wanted Zombie Conan and another pop for her Batman Conan...
For Zombie Conan someone asked for 2 pops, I threw in a 3rd:
Robot Devil Violin, and Unmasked Leia, and I threw in a 3rd, they said Regina w Heart
Currently $145, $380, $280
For Batman Conan someone asked for Zombie Conan and another pop:
Zombie Conan and she picked my Unmasked Flash SCE.
Currently $100 and $115
So I finally got my Batman Conan
Currently $150
I shoulda just waited n bought Batman Conan straight up. That's was alot to give up looking back. -_- I found leia again locally for $50, and I had a 2nd Regina for Blue Heisenberg, and had SDCC sticker Flash. Never did find another Robot Devil with Violin tho. That first girl came up

Ahhh I have so many favorites but my ultimate favorite is my very first pop. It is my 2010 10” Metallic Maleficent that I got from SDCC by just walking into their booth. I’ll never get rid of her. NEVER!

My favorite con exclusive is the SDCC Headless Hershel. This is the one Pop! that started it all for me.

Harry Potter on Broom. Such a cool mold, totally looks like the pop is in mid air from afar. Hope to one day find the proto!

Re: What is your Favorite Convention Exclusive?
Great question and it made me relive how I got these favorites. I'll be a little lame and say the Freddy Funkos I got from Fundays but I'll back them up with stories for each.
Regular Freddy Bender Fundays 2015: It was my first Fundays. I've been going to SDCC as far back as when it was just comics and it was held in the Civic Center for about $5 to get in. So this was CRAZY new to me and my friends. One of the most memorable nights of my SDCC going days. Bender is especially connected to me because I was an animator on the show for the first season so this was special.
Freddy He-Man and Freddy Night King Fundays 2016: I didn't initially get in and was on the waitlist. It worked, a few days before SDCC I got an e-mail saying I got a ticket! I'm an 80's kid so He-Man is from my childhood. One of my earlier animation teachers worked on the animation for He-Man so that was another connection. Night King Freddy, is a no-brainer and I got Brian Mariotti to sign both him and He-Man. I know he has nothing to do with either show but he was so gracious and totally available to chat and say hi to everyone that night, I just had to make my memorabilia for the night even more...well, memorable. The first time I met Brian Mariotti!
Freddy Flux Quantum and Freddy Flux Zenith Fundays 2017: My two closest friends who went with me on our first Fundays in 2015 didn't make it off waitlist for 2016 but there we were at the 2017 Fundays! Another great night with my two best friends and I was able to make a few trades to pair up my Zenith Freddy Flux with the Quantum Freddy Flux! Everyone at these Fundays are just so, well, fun!
Another reason these are so memorable for me is the friends I make waiting in line to go in. Then we sit together during the show and have such awesome memories. The next year, I run into these folks and we just have the biggest smiles and exchange hellos. These memories with people I had fun with and the connections the actual POP!s happen to have with parts of my life just make them special.
Thanks for giving me a reason to look back and enjoy my favorite exclusives. And discover why I love them so much.

With ECCC now behind us, I must say that it was one of the best Con experiences I have ever had. With a bunch of Funatic friends coming for the convention, it was also the first time I made an effort to be more Funko focused at a Con.
I managed to score all the exclusives I was hoping for and then some! The best part of the whole experience was being able to spend time with old friends and make new ones! It’s great to finally be able to put beautiful smiling faces to the names I have been following and commenting along with on the Boards. I can’t wait until SDCC when I get to see everyone again!
For me, the first Pop!s I ever got was from a Con almost 2 years ago: Stormtrooper Conan at SDCC 2016. It remains one my favorites and definitely my favorite from a Con. It started me on the path of collecting Funko and I am still great friends with the people I met at that Con while in line for Conan.
So what’s your favorite Con exclusive and why?
Duuuude! So happy to have met you at ECCC! Thank you for that assist with Giant Wight
I'm still going through withdrawals of the awesome 2 days I spent at Seattle. I might've OD'ed from all the FUN, if I was there the whole weekend. Hahaha...
If I were to pick a favorite con exclusive in my collection, I'd have to say it was SDCC Sloth from Goonies. He makes me happy every time I see him.
Looking forward to meeting up with you again at SDCC this summer, yo!
The SDCC Sloth is pretty awesome and great pic! Was cool meeting you too Dave! Definitely looking forward to seeing you and having more good times at SDCC!

Re: What is your Favorite Convention Exclusive?
My favorite kind of con exclusives are always variants. New additions to lines are cool but I usually tend to like varaints of existing pops. My favorites were back in the day when they made Metallic versions of pops, those were cool. I feel like it took an existing pop and made it "special" somehow.

Re: What is your Favorite Convention Exclusive?
Just started collecting, so I haven't been able to make it to any Con for an exclusive. However, the Con exclusives that make it to the stores I have a few. My favorite would be the Kevin Smith Stan Lee Con exclusive, as he is pretty much my favorite person in the world. I also just recently bought the Jean-Ralphio, Tom Havaford two pack, which is pretty amazing.
Hopefully now, after finding this board, it will keep me informed on what is coming and where to find them. I've been missing out on a lot of cool pieces.

Re: What is your Favorite Convention Exclusive?
When thinking about my favorite con-exclusives, I don't just think about my favorite POP, but also its significance to that specific convention. Is it something that Funko just saved to make 5 more bucks a POP or is it something that was actually designed for this con.
Therefore, I think Freddy of Liberty has to win!

Thanks for sharing! The best part of Convention exclusives for me, by far, are the people I’ve met along the way and memories associated with them! It makes them that much more special. Beyond just expanding my collection, I would say that Cons have been very important in bringing me closer to the Funatic community. With every Con I’ve been to, my group of friends in the community has grown and I get more excited to see everyone again at the next one!

So tough. SDCC Unmasked Leia Boussh and SDCC Aragorn/Arwen are sentimental favorites because I love Leia and LOTR so much, but from a pure pop appreciation standpoint I think the SDCC Megazord, SDCC Metallic Fudo Myo and SDCC Occamy are extremely well done.

Re: What is your Favorite Convention Exclusive?
It would probably have to be SDCC Headless Ned Stark just because it had a great gimmick with a removeable head. The fact that it’s technically a blood splattered figure gave it extra points in my book. The half open eyes are a nice touch as well. If I had to sell 95% of my collection this would be one of the few keepers.

My heart lies with SDCC 2013 Clown Dumbo, but there have been so many amazing con exclusives; it’s hard to choose just one. Flocked Gizmo, Glow Oogie Boogie, and Blue Suit Mr. Incredible are definitely some of my favorites to name a few. This year I’m going to attend NYCC as my first con!

I can’t decide on one... sonim just gonna say all of the original Funko characters that have found themselves turned into Pops! The Black/silver/blue Amazing Carlos might just be my fave, though. Other than those... my very first con Exclusive was Bloody Prison Yard Rick from TWD. He will always have a special place in my collection.

Headless Ned Stark. I went to SDCC that year but wasn’t collecting pops at the time so didn’t attempt to go into the booth. When I came home, I was searching on eBay for SDCC stuff and saw the pop. I wasn’t even watching Game of Thrones but it looked so cool I decided to buy my
first SDCC Exclusive for $25. In hindsight I should have bought 50
