Among Us Pops.

I've been thinking a lot about Among Us recently, and was thinking about if Funko should make pops from Among Us? The game became so popular in 2020, and would be cool if Funko did pops based off the crewmates and imposters from Among Us? What do you think? Should Funko do Among Us pops?

The game had a lot of hype, I feel like that has fallen off greatly though. Maybe a window that has already gone?

that is the tough part about this stuff, to hit the hype you need to plan way ahead and then you run the risk of rushing a stinker to market. Granted Among Us is actually a reasonably old game, so i don't really think they ever could've gotten in on the trend since it shot up out of nowhere.

These could wind up looking pretty cool. The game is super popular, so I can see them dabbling in the game one day.

I feel like they maybe could have if it wasn't the year that we did have, slowing production down for pretty much everything.

minis would be cool for the different cosmetics, but i do think they'd translate perfectly to soda. all the chases could be dead versions.

They could make them like a mr potato head where you buy a color and you can add on the hats and accessories

My son still plays this game daily. I'm sure if he saw any of these pops on the shelf he would need to have them all

My son talks about this game pretty much all the time, and yes if he sees these, he would want to have all of them OOB and have pretend scenarios with them.

Just as long as they weren't they weren't simply standing there, I'd want the poses of them in action.

Yeah, I think they'll still sell. Even if the game becomes irrelevant in the near future it will end up being a Nostalgia buy for me.

Yeah. If the game becomes irrelevant, a lot of fans might buy the pops still.

If they could have their weapons from the animations that would be an instant sell, I dont think I’d want them to have all the same pose though

I agree, reg poses would prob be a pass for me but if they had weapons/hats/ or were in a their murder animation pose I’m in.

Personally I am not a fan of the idea as pops, but I would be sold on the idea of mystery mini boxes. I mean there could be quite a few different molds in place and lots of options for chases. I do think that the craze has died down a bit, but I do know that it still is being played. Maybe minis will be easier to produce in a shorter time frame and this could allow Funko to still jump in on the popularity of the game. Hell even a Among Us advent calendar would be perfect.
