Deadlist Catch/Wicked Tuna Pops

Postby Tusken » Tue May 18, 2021 11:25 am

I was think how cool it would be to have Funko make some pop rides of the ships on Deadlist Catch or Wicked Tuna? They could use the captains as the Pops with their boats. :freddy3:

Haha, maybe if they start making the bots they could do a chase with one of the flocked dogs for HotTuna. :freddy3:

Omg this is both ridiculous and awesome lol! Pretty sure this show is on 90 percent of the time at my parents house, might be the first pop I get for my dad hahahaha.

Can we get the actual sea life that they would catch? Like just a tuna or basket of crabs.

Oh that would be a fun idea to add to the boats (maybe a their respective chases)? :freddy3:

This is actually a neat idea. But also, we have to at least get a fisherman pop with fishing rod and all. :bounce:

I would totally buy a Northwestern, Time Bandit, and Cornelia Marie, but I don't like the Pop Rides where the rider is out of proportion with the ride, leaving their head popping out of the cabin, or wherever. While it seems perfect for the scale of the new Seinfeld Diorama, I also would not want tiny versions of the captains. The best compromise might be something along the lines of the albums, with a full-size Pop of the captain and a photo of the boat behind them. If they made those, I might even go for a Wizard too.

Considering not only that Deadliest Catch has been licensed out for stuff before, but also how many of the boats are based in the Seattle area, it certainly seems like something they should be able to get done.

Would the chase versions have a cooked smell? Like the common is raw crab, but the chase has a salty butter sweet odor?

I was able to snag the Swap Thing scented last year. It is very pine smelling but I could only image a fish smell one. :freddy3:
