NFT's are relatively new and I'm sure lots of companies are hesitant or want to put their toe in the water before lending their license to another company. So far we've had 2 Viacom properties, an in house release with the Freddy Halloween, Bob Ross which is obviously easy to get, and then a few smaller ones as well. It may be a while before we get some big name licenses or maybe never.

I personally would love all Funko original drops, but that probably won't happen

I can certainly see that being the case, or even if some companies have prior agreements tied to other nfts already or in the works.

Im so happy to have just completed the set of Freddy Funko Halloween NFTs. Let me tell you all, it was a challenge. I had some amazing help from fellow funatics and then I was left to hunt down and purchase the last two on Atomic Hub. Buying WAXP and making all that possible was an experience I will never forget. I haven't purchased any other sets ... curious to see what comes after Popeye and Flash Gordon. =D>

Congrats! The first time you do this it can be intimidating for sure, but it's surprisingly satisfying to go to the Tokenhead app and see you aren't missing anything.

I bought a pack of Big Boy while at a sales conference and opened it later that night back in my hotel room, but I didn't look in to buying or selling until a week later when I was back home. The prices had dropped so much by then that I basically thought I would be stupid not to finish the set. That's what got me to research enough to get over that barrier to entry. I have been in ever since (Royalty on every set, Legendary for BB, IM, and Bob Ross, and both Legendary and Grail for Halloween and Star Trek), although I will have to cut back - I was working a second retail job until right before Thanksgiving and I used the money I was making there to invest in Wax and that is going to run out soon.

I think they are just releasing sets in different order. Bob Ross glams actually show #9 and #10 on 2 of the boxes which leads me to believe it was supposed to release before Iron Maiden. I'm really curious to see if the box numbers are the same for this Popeye/Flash Gordon set or not.

I did make a few updates to my spreadsheet. The estimated count removed coins that are currently listed on the market on Atomic Hub as well as coins that were purchased since January 1st. It gives us a rough idea of how many were actually redeemed. I have seen a decent amount of people say they forgot to redeem so it would be safe to assume the actual number is probably 20+ lower than the coins count listed here.

It’s interesting to see how they are playing around with the max number of redeemables, trying to see what works I assume.

I don't know about the "excellence chance" of landing any though, those are some pretty low percentages for the legendary and grail. The excellence chance is more along the aftermarket place. lol

It's a good starting point though and should get you 2-3 Epics and the chance of Legendary/Royalty. That's just my personal strategy though as I know others go about it a different way.

Well I might just have to try and jump into the buying tomrrow. I have completed every royalty set in every NFT drop I have participated in, so if I jump in, I must keep the streak going.

Bought 8 packs - 6 standard, 2 premium. No grail but I was only missing one Epic. I pulled a Legendary Bluto and a Legendary Flash in the standards. Then in my first premium pack I pulled two of the Legendary Flash Gordon, and pulled another one in the last pack. Gonna sell those extras to try and get the grail.

I can personally see that. A lot of the licenses seem to be easier to acquire or brands eager to connect with younger audiences. Which makes sense, because big ones (especially those owned by Disney or Warner Bros) are either more expensive for something new like this or are doing NFTs of their own, which I've seen for both already. There's also the PR concern from people who are against it entirely that are making some companies hesitant.

This seems to be going remarkably well for them though, so I will not be surprised if we get bigger properties the further down in drops we go
