I'd say random, because I entered the queue with about 1 hour left on the countdown.

When it hit zero, my screen said your are in line, don't refresh, or whatever.

Then soon after it said there were 189 people in front of me and the wait time was less than 1 minute.

My turn came up, it said log in to continue, so I did. I then added, checked out, then got an error pop up that said I can only receive 1.

Then it showed the pack in my collection.

The last bit was a little clunky, but maybe because this was my first NFT experience.

welp, that went about as badly as I had feared - when it let me in to the queue it said 9000 people were ahead of me, but I guess more than 1000 were let in already at that point.

There were pictures floating around of an account with 40+ cards, all transferred from other accounts, so it appears people were using bots linked to multiple wax accounts. I'm sure it didn't help that this was a free drop, makes it all the more worthwhile to use bots when you don't have to spend money (not that they care, I guess).

Managed to get one.

I was at 2,300+ when it started and after 2-3 minutes, I managed to enter to get one pack.

But when I entered, it loaded for quite a while and then prompted me that the transaction could not be loaded.

Afterwhich, I checked my Wax wallet, and the pack is already inside.

The process flow is still pretty buggy, IMO.

The queue for this is miles away from being stable if that is case we are seeing.

I had a chance to snag some NBA Top Shot packs in the previous months as well, and the queuing as well as the limit to one pack per person is really in full effect.

I missed out by about 5,000. Haha. I am glad that some people here were able to get one. I am hopeful that I can purchase a pack tomorrow, but will definitely not count on it as the demand is going to far exceed the supply. I am sure a lot of people who entered the que today did so because it was free and feel we will have slightly better odds tomorrow.

I like that the prices are reasonable right now, but hate that I can't buy lower quantities of Wax. If I am lucky enough to purchase two premium packs tomorrow (not counting on it) then I will sell or trade doubles for the Freddy or an unopened pack. Tomorrow is going to be wild.

Exactly, this isn't a new issue when it comes to a release like this. I wouldn't expect much of a change tomorrow even with having to buy the packs.
