Probably not a question for Funko's mascot lol

but how do you prevent it? In the past, have the cards been minted after the announcement and so a leak was just the individual cards, and so this was because the NFTs were minted earlier than normal? I have no idea what the timeline would be on all of that.

Kinda stinks though since you have to transfer everything to Droppp for the redeemable stuff. Just another step that’s going to deter people.

EDIT: nevermind looks like you only have to transfer the token at the end.

Yeah hopefully going forward, drops go more smoothly and people can actually get packs at retail

Created a paid account on Droppp and transferred a coin to test and it was super easy. Having an account name that is easy to remember is super nice, but ending in .dp is a little interesting lol

While it suck could they were leaked I got to ask myself are these two mini drops just a taste and there will still be a big drop at the end of the month?

One addition I gotta say. even tho there is no physical if it were to be announced after the drop that Freddy Funko el Diablo would be given out for completing the set as a thank you to those who still supported it I would be happy

At first I was annoyed to have to create a new Droppp wallet account but I think being able to create a simple wallet name is going to make up for it. My wax wallet has random letters plus an an extra . in it and always causes issues with my auto-correct.

Well thats kinda the point of an nfc, is that it's tied to a market value, if not, it will just end up like topshot and your stuff is worthless if no one cares.

So from my understanding there are 3 unique cards in today's drop and 3 more in the drop on Thursday. All the other cards will be available in both drops. I think my plan is to go for 6 packs today and 6 on Thursday and then pick up any missing pieces on the secondary market. I know lots of people aren't too thrilled with no redeemable Pops for this mini-drop, but I understand they want to test their new site. I'm excited for the change though to Droppp!

It’s a step in the right direction though for the move. Hopefully, there will be some utility for these sets, if ever.

Hopefully, the drop will be smoother and as a Funko Originals collector, will try this out as well!

Yeah, $18 is the limit. So 6 packs, basically.
