During ECCC 2018, I had a chance to purchase a Dirk Nowitzki pop from a booth for $150. I walked away because I was unsure about the price. I went back to the booth 15 minutes later and it was sold. I kick myself every time I think about it.

There was a Reggae Rasta chase on eBay when I first started collecting. It was either $400 or $600 at the time and I didn’t pull the trigger because I just started collecting and had never spent that much on a single piece. I knew it was a great buy, but being relatively new at the time I couldn’t bring myself to drop that kind of cash.

I have started buying more WWE Pops (despite saying I was narrowing my collecting focus) and I regret passing by the Toys R Us exclusive Bayley. I saw her so many times and never bothered.

When you are new or even not so new that is a lot to be dropping unless you have a lot of disposable income. Hopefully you will get it eventually.

The barrier to entry at the beginning was so huge that it was really discouraging (one site to buy, one to open, one to view, where the heck do you buy Wax?). Funko really did a great job of making it easier with Droppp.

Too often I think, oh, I'll get it later. Well that was the case here, wasn't watching MHA, but thought it was cool looking but no urgency at the time to get it. Plus I was on a budget so got what was on my list.

I’ve never gotten into the actual booth so I’m usually all about exclusives from other booths. I just had no idea who it was and didn’t want to take space in my suitcase. I think I probably should have made room lol

It was a walk-up most of the time. The following year the booth was packed the entire time. It was a simpler time back then.

Well, at opening, no, there was a line --but nothing crazy just busy. I would say, by the afternoon around 3pm, it was a walk-up, but they had plenty of stock through the weekend.

Yes. It was different then. I “reluctantly” walked up and bought my Red Eye Frieza in ‘15. At the time, I was upset I couldn’t get the Funko booth exclusive

Oh, yes. The main Funko booth started getting packed in 2013. 2012 was the last year you could get in throughout most of the day. It was cool back then, because they would give you a raffle ticket and you'd come back in the afternoon and could win a proto.

After word spread about 2017, the jig was definitely up in 2018.

I was in high school when I was trying to purchase the full mj set along with tupac and biggie. At the time, they were $20 and I had no idea what funko pops were. I just thought they looked pretty unique and having my favorite singers as these chibi like figures was pretty funny. I almost pulled the trigger but completely forgot about them. Peep my face when Amazon kept updating saying the item kept going up in price
