3 inch Funko Pops

Postby Tusken » Tue Apr 12, 2022 2:18 pm

I was thinking how cool it would be if Funko made like 3 inch posable Pops similar to Toybix Metal ones in the 90's (think X-men). First choice would be Wetmore Forest, Snapsies, and Paka Paka since they are great original ideas. :freddy3:

Now sure if you are familiar, but there some released before as Pop! Minis.

It’s scale is smaller than the usual regular Pops!, but it’s bigger than the current Pocket Pop!/Pocket Pop! keychains that we currently have now.

Sharing some of mine below :)

Funko has tried getting into "action figures" a few times, but not with the Pop aesthetic. Most recently it was 5 Star and Legacy.

Looks like we are getting mini sodas which might be as close as we get to a 3 inch pop. :freddy3:

I have not been a fan of the action figures like 5 star etc.

My first reaction to the thread title was 'not another line I have to collect!' but then I thought, the smaller versions would be easier to store so maybe.....

The Funko Legacy figures were actually the first Funko products I purchased wholesale when I was first getting started around 2014-15, then the Mystery Minis and Pops came later...I LOVED these. I think they should have had a longer run but probably didn't sell as well...but imo they're up there with any McFarlane stuff & I definitely loved the accessories etc as well

Same thought lol. Maybe even cheaper too! Although I do think the current size for pops is just right.

I also thought - cheaper so I can buy more but then that sort of defeats the benefit of them being smaller. This feels like math - I don't like it.

These were pretty sweet figures. I only have Arya Stark from The Collector’s Case subscription. And “Needle” broke when I attempted to pose Arya holding Needle. But Funko was kind enough to replace the entire figurine. Albeit, they mailed me a Drogon Pop! as replacement first. And THEN correctly mailed me an Arya Legacy figure. ;-) Funko Customer Service 2017…top notch.

Looks like we are getting small sodas which means we could get small funko pops. Fingers crossed. Who would like to see be the first to be a smaller pop? :freddy3:
