I’m really interested to see how the community reacts to the bitty pop when they really get going

I could see them taking off. They sell them in sets of 4. Wait till the chases hit and they start dropping anime. I believe DBZ is first.

Anime does seem to be a game changer.

I just saw the TMNT itty bittys. I’d buy those ones.

Yes $50 per die cast can add up quick if your chase hunting. Well it would be cool if they gave the chase a different pose but I see what you’re saying about cost.

I think it’s because we have collected so long that we understand the fundamental economics of figures with chases but tbh I like the fact that funko is still trying to innovate and introduce new concepts and ideas. Sometimes you hit and sometimes you miss but you miss one hundred percent of the shots you don’t take. The sodas ended up being a big hit and that was essentially just a shot in the dark

The sodas were for sure a hit. I don't think die cast will hit as hard, but I do see a spot for them. They are pretty heavy duty.

I really thought I would like the diecast, problem I think is that the chase is basically just an unpainted figure. Not sure what the right solution would be, but a more selective variant, metallic something... might make the line more desirable.

Anything Freddy Funko would be a must have, however.

A year later and we have a lot of super hero die cast but no Freddy. This con coming up would be an opportune time for it. Hopefully the chase doesnt end up being an all silver version though
