COVID from Celebration Gang.

My iPhone blew up with contract trace notifications after the convention.

i believe it! I'm going to SDCC and I have a feeling my iPhone will be blowing up with trace notifications too. That con life.

Yeah, already prepared for it. I guess we'll have to see how large SDCC ends up being too, SWC was pretty busy but still not as big as previous years I feel

Isn’t SDCC requiring masks as well? Did SWC?

I can’t believe I was able to go standby and only wait about an hour. They still had most items available too Sunday afternoon.

SWC had a announcement every day to wear masks in doors but 70% of the people weren't wearing them. I knew for sure being there everyday I was going to get it.

SDCC will enforce the masks like they did at the SDCC SE last november

I am hoping to go next Year in the UK. Hopefully, it's still that easy to get them.

I had contact tracing on for both WonderCon and SDCC Special Edition. CCI was very strict about both masks, vaccines, tests, and wristbands. My phone didn't blow up after either con. Celebration didn't have any vaccine or test requirements and masks weren't really enforced. So the differences were kinda night and day. Plus, timing in part of the year there has been a lot of growth this summer. The summer spread will definitely be a worry come SDCC, but since I already caught it from Celebration, I guess its fine?

Same…the only other time I made it in the booth was for DCon…it’s sad going to the con knowing there’s no chance of getting into the Funko booth.

If SDCC is doing it like they did last time then have to throw all the opportunities into the Funko booth.
