I did the same thing at SDCC...wasn't in line to see him but I was in line to purchase a ticket to meet him and I got out thinking, I'll do it next year! Lesson learned again with Carrie Fisher!! Never again!! ](*,)

Same. We were at ECCC 2017 and sat in on his panel but it was also my first con after not going for a while + my partner's first con ever so we weren't prepared.
Another one is Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) since he was last at a con in Northern California back in January before he passed.
