But do you guys think the Fundays Freddys will use the traditional boxes with the Freddy drawing on them or will they be the newer (and worse IMO) newer boxes with the photoshop picture of the figure itself? the only reason i even question it is because the online Fundays from last year did have the classic boxes.

Everything new is migrated over to the 3D Renders on the box…so it’s fairly safe to assume that will be the case going forward.

Interesting point about last years boxes, I didn't even think about that. I like the traditional ones though.

-Freddy as Han Solo in Carbonite. I love that design and I think it would be so cool to have it turned into a Freddy

Im wondering the same too...will it be like last year where ppl choose the team first and they will send the mascot set n then the BOF. Im looking forward hearing the announcement .

Not for the general public to purchase online, that’s new & seems like the new norm going forward…

There has been an online box of fun for 2018 and 2019 in tandem with the live event going on.

The real question is, will 2022 have all the same Freddy chances or will it be like previous Fundays where online had different possibilities versus the in person show?

I think they should keep it where the better limited ones are at the show

The live event at the Hyatt should always have different items, at least the very limited ones, IMO.

Last ones have usually had one or two that I’d have rather had than the event ones. Freddy Pennywise for example.

And Chucky if I remember correctly.

Pennywise was for sure only in the on-line box and I believe Chucky and bloody Chucky were too. I don’t recall if there were any available on-line only in the 2018 BOF

Yeah, Chucky and bloody Chucky were from the 2019 online box. I think I got the non-bloody Chucky in my box that year.

Yeah, the stress and struggle are real! I actually bought a hard suitcase in 2018 just so I'd know that my pops would be safe from rough handling! Haven't had anything damaged since, though generally pop trips are via train, not plane.

Seriously though, it's worked well enough that a friend is now shopping for a hard sided suitcases for SDCC. Gotta be prepared!

I've thought that about some they have done already, sometimes it's the colors that draw me in a bit more though. Even how strange they might be on the characters.

Same here. Decided not to go to SDCC this year for a variety of reasons. Will try to pick up a BOF assuming they put them online again though!

I'm not sure why people think all of them will be blacklight. I'd guess like 6 or so based on the previous years.

Ahhh. I wouldn’t worry too much about the suitcase. As long as you have pop protectors. You’ll be good.

Right? Getting the BoF from the online drop isn't as fun since people get theirs at different times then you see spoilers when people post their haul on social media. And seeing others' reactions in-person and being able to chat and trade with others at the event.
