Oh the Tron is definitely a sleeper. I think by next years box of fun it should drop in price another 100 dollars or so. That’s when I’ll purchase it.

That sounds like a good strategy

I'll have to look for the pic, I don't have him myself. It was similar to the regular iron pop, maybe a little brighter glow

That is my plan also, Tron is one of my all time favorite movies, bought the common, need the chase, would love the proto.

I don’t think I’ve ever came across a proto of Tron, that would be a cool piece to have for sure

I like all the released ones and my favorite is Darth Maul for sure.
I'd pulled the Danny and my buddy pulled the Tron Glow.
He is a huge fan of Danny, so we've made the trade. We're both happy :compress:

The shell holds like 8k. So it should be a total blow out. And hopefully more board members can make it in! Will be fun to see how they blow it out next year!

TBH not really. I've heard the glow is really inconsistent though, so maybe some have a strong irl glow. I just know mine are so-so. In pictures though they look amazing.

I'd say future Fundays will feel more like Hall H. That wasn't a bad deal and maybe ticket prices will go down if the venue/catering isn't as expensive as MGH.

I think that’s right. I wonder if maybe they ditch the food and make the show bigger but a reduced price on the tickets with no food. Will be intense to see how they run it out there.

I was thinking the same thing. Could be a lot cheaper. Wonder how they process 8k through if they give protos and stuff like the past ones.

I wouldn't expect anything close to 8k yet. I'd say double previous so 3200 to 4k. They wouldn't be able to get everyone through at more than that. It took the whole 2 hours this previous Fundays. Also the bigger the less prizes and thus less prizes patrol.

I don't think it'd be possible to do a prize patrol at all if they do stadium seating. They'd have to do tables, which seems like a bigger headache and wouldn't be any more cost efficient. We'll just have to wait and see what they have in store for us.

The Shell has an option for tables so they will probably do that, which reduces the total capacity and would still be able prize patrol (although probably less often than every single prize)

Truthfully, I would temper all expectations. Assume the worst because then you won't be as disappointed. I came into this years Fundays thinking there would be tons of 500 or less pieces Freddys. There was only 2 in the box of fun and 5 given out as team prizes. I would assume this will only be higher piece counts next year with it going bigger. I also don't expect to get as many pops either, probably 6 to 8 rather than 10 plus.

I'm looking forward to the disappointment.... lol

I think I'm hoping that there are fewer pops per person but more quality with the larger group. That doesn't make any sense really but one can hope!
