Die Cast? How do we feel about them?

I really do like these, but the price point is a big issue for me. I will be very selective with these for sure.

Is better to be selective, to buy pieces that you dont need just because they are cheaper.

Remember space is going to be the real problem after years and years of collecting.

Space is already a real problem. I have been collecting since 2014. I am near about 600 plus items.

Space is already a real problem. I have been collecting since 2014. I am near about 600 plus items.

I put a limit of 600 pieces, that way I have to make a choice and think, does this piece enter in the collection, do I really need it??

Some diecast are cool and some are really lazy IMO. Most of them I passed on.

I really enjoy the quality but wish they would do something more with the chases.
Based on their pattern, might be hard for them to change that up.

Some DC ones would be pretty cool too.

There tons of Funkoshop exclusive with notify button so it's really hard to predict when.

IMO, the chases so far have been lazy. I really love the thrill of pulling a chase but when it just is a common with no paint, it is kinda disappointing. What if a die cast chase was glow or black light? Even if the chase was somehow differently painted, I would get seriously excited about that. I also do get the reason for not using a different mold for the chase, given the costs of manufacturing.

A glow would be super awesome. Especially if the lettering on the Die-cast case glowed too!

I like common better than the chase. I agree with you, I do think funko can do a better job with the chases.

I was about them and when I saw the glams I was like.. yup! Grabbing all these! Then I missed out on that first one and hard passed on all of them ever since… I think I was just bitter I missed out haha

I totally get that, you kind of feel like it is a lost cause. I have had to resist getting it through eBay, but when I also missed out on another, I decided it wasn't meant to be.

I like the die cast. I do think they should be special releases and only for popular characters. The marvel & DC were good. Let's see if they can open the doors for other licenses.
