You better hope they don't make a die cast of your favorite character.. then you'll get it lol

I think the die casts are pretty cool, the chases are neat to have too. I certainly won’t collect them all, but there’s certain characters like Iron Man that are fitting for the style

I really hope they do something different with the chases though. With how nice the figures are I feel like there is potential to make some great chases

They are cool. Great for home defense in a pinch. A bit expensive though.

I think they are a little bit too expensive, but they are nice. The chase variations need improvement because as it stands the regular versions look nicer.

I’ve mentioned before that I don’t like this line at all a but I would cave in if Funko ever made a SILVER SURFER Die Cast.

there are certainly some characters that make more sense than others, like iron man. I'd love an iron giant die cast pop.

I do love how substantial these are. They display great, look great. I myself enjoy the commons more and have no desire to dump money on the chase hunt for these ones. Look really good with the painted version. Will for sure only stick to the major needs at this price point for sure.

I actually like the way that they display - they feel protected but also totally visible. Easy to open if you want to - not like a pop protector, where once it goes in, I dare not try to open it again and damage the thing I am trying to protect.

And I like the weight of them - they feel substantial!

But I get that they also cost a lot more. So, maybe best for special characters or product lines.

Where do we think they will go next with future Die Casts?

Diecast funko pops are a awesome idea I just wish the chases weren’t just silver all the time.

Yes, die-cast is a solid piece but the price is just too high.
I skipped on all of the releases.
Most of them are just lazy chases and many of them pass on it.

I have seen a table full week after week at Hollywood.

I am going to clear out some Pops in the New Year (I just passed 1000 in my collection and am out of room) and the die cast are going to go. I think they’re cool, and if they ever made a Freddy or someone from Stranger Things I would buy them, but the superheroes gotta go.

I think diecast are amazing just funko needs to make the chases different and not all silver because most people are buying it for the common not the chase because the chase is so plain and the same every time.

At least iron man felt like it was a good for a die cast.

I love that this is finally happening as there were diecast conversations on this board for a long time before it ever actually happened! While I usually go crazy, I will say that the chases don’t really drive me wild enough to hunt for them and my luck hasn’t ever been good in that retrospect!

I finally ordered the black panter diecast - although I only ordered one this time. I am not chasing this time - it just costs too much, and I cannot handle the disappointment again - And I already have a closet full of duplicates from the first few I chased.... lol

I like them but the price sorta drives me away. The only chase I've gotten so far is Boba Fett but I've only tried for Boba and Darth.

I got to say what I like most about the die cast is the case and packaging. I'm at the point that if they made a good back to the future Pop , I would borrow my bobbafett case and packaging for it.

Unfortunately I'm in this same boat. Will catch them on sale somewhere if I can. If not, it's okay also.
