Ever found a grail in your own closet?

That one was practically grail when it came out....

It kinda surged in recent years!

I had a Funko Booth slot that year, and Cheerleader Deadpool was top of my wish list - of course it was sold out when it was my turn in line - so hard to get the LE items anywhere but Ebay!

It was tough! Luckily my friend sold me an extra for retail that year since he made the line at SDCC!

I stored them as I purchased them. 2018 bin would be at the bottom.

Have you ever found a grail in your own closet?

The other day I was just looking in my pop closet (yes I have a closet where I put the pops I am not currently displaying) and I picked up one that didn't have a pop protector to check if it was worthy - and to my surprise it was more than worthy at a PPG of $125. Now this little guy is in a Pop Stack and is sitting prominently on my top shelf!!!

nice!! I guess you could say I 'found' a grail but not in the closet per say but after awhile NOT keeping track of values - I have discovered that certain ones have gained quite a bit of value. For instance, the Cheshire Cat Tea Cup Wondercon pop - actually picked it up on auction for $130 and not long ago say it was like $700 or so and needless to say, was VERY pleasantly surprised. Wish it was always like that but many times it could be the opposite.

Found a metallic genie in an old never used trash bin in my brothers closet.

That's ridiculous! Was it in good shape? Did you sell it, and not tell your brother, while you laughed all the way to the bank?

I later on found out that my sister bought it for him at SDCC and he didn't really care about it so that was his way of "storing" it, its in decent shape probably would give it an 8/10 on box condition. She wouldn't let me have it either .

About two years ago I was talking to a high school student at the school I work at, he said his grail was the bank robber Joker. I knew I had one, I bought in a discount bin at a 7-11.

It was like three deep in my shelf burried....

I found a black and white Eren in one of my moving boxes unprotected but still mint . The joys of moving around.

I have a lot of bins stored in my closet and every once in a while I'll go through them and find something I did not realize I had! I found an amazing spider-man funko pop recently and was glad to find it because he's become grail worthy since the newest film!

Marvin Martian ride and I forgot i had him. I even like him but the box was so big it went into storage Raiders of Lost Arc style. Same with hooded cobra commander. Out of storage they came out.

I am fascinated with Fundays pop prices. The more flooded the new ones are, the more expensive some of the old ones become. People loved trading with me in 2016 because I felt like I was the only one who wanted Sting and Cobra Commander and Bert and Ernie. They became quite pricey over the years.

it's definitely more of the reverse for me, the ones I find in in my closet or storage area closet are still commons and my actual grails are the ones that I can't ever seem to find when I need them. so many pops to keep track of sometimes :/

Probably SDCC Pete Puma. It was probably the least sought after pop during the con and for a while after that. I even forgot I had it in the garage. Saw it while cleaning up the house. I was surprised to see the price .

From the Pov of my significant other her jem in the holograms pop was in the closet for over a yearand she forgot about it. Once she remembered she ran to get him. I actually found it funny.
