For 2023 I need an Ash Williams Freddy!

I was fully convinced that this was going to be one of the Fright Night pops. Sadly, I was mistaken.

There was a photo of a customer or something that was going around so it started a rumor. I have been putting it in every Freddy wishlist for a long time and still haven't gotten him. Fingers crossed for Fright Night 2023!

I legit thought fright night was gonna be like fundays but filled with a wild assortment of horror Freddie’s because it seems like they have horror licenses out the wazoo

Last year was my first time so I have not had that experience. I was super thrilled with what we got, mainly getting my first Proto. I couldn't imagine people getting 24 pc, that must have been nuts.

Don’t get me wrong, I want to make it clear that funko doesn’t miss when it comes to fundays. The entertainment, the excitement and even the box of fun is always exciting and quality however; being that I’ve been to a couple of fundays pre-pandemic and post-pandemic. I think that the lower pc count and the variety of the fundays boxes was really really exciting bc it made you go around and interact with other fanatics to see what they got & trade etc etc. I guess the same happens with protos but to see that some funatics got extra extra lucky by making the journey was extra fun. Tbh though, it was the first fundays after the pandemic so maybe they may bring back the lower pc count for this years fundays.

I definitely see your point. I was just overwhelmed with being there, no way was I ready to interact with all of the different tables. First time you kind of need to learn the rules as well like someone being the captain of your table and passing things out.

Completely understandable. So the last fundays, the way I knew what was in everyone’s boxes and what I’d be hunting the floor for - was that people started posting what they got online from within the event and it gave a idea of the wild assortment that one may get - so I hit the ground running as soon as I got in

It's currently at a 9.2 on IMDb. Definitely popular enough to get a Freddy. The show is phenomenal.

At times it did somewhat feel like I was playing laser tag with the music and lights going off and people running around. Heck of an experience.

The wwe Freddy’s have always been a hit in my opinion. I’d love to continue seeing more Freddys of wrestlers who had colorful and vibrant attire. Ultimate warrior and Ric Flair immediately come to mind.

You and my wife have a lot in common then! But seriously it should be interesting to see next Fundays at the clamshell, luckily it will be a nice way to avoid the heat I hope, the damn Hyatt never cranked the AC in that room down enough to sustain us when we got going .

I’m just curious how it’s going to be this year since it will be at the amphitheater. Hopefully they still have the protos available with them saying there’s going to be a lot more people able to attend. But i can’t wait either way and hope i get to go!! It was so fun last year going for the first time and i love my black light Optimus.

I've been there once before and remember it being pretty massive. Shouldn't be too bad if it's in the evening.
That's brutal though. I used to work in a hotel and it can be hard to accommodate guests with room issues during huge events like SDCC. Hope they made up for it one way or another though.
