Ever bought a Pop! you already own?

I did it most recently when there was an exclusive for sale, and I bought it at the reseller's website and on the Funko website, just in case one of the orders got cancelled....

Now I have two!

I might open one and display it OOB....

I just did something similar - had the spidey-shirt Bullseye Target dog on order from Target, and they kept delaying my order. I was assuming at this point they're going to cancel my order (delayed at least 5 times!), so I ordered one from FS when he popped up there. So guess who finally sent my pop this week? Another duplicate for the collection!

I bought iron spider 3 times... and then a week after the surprise 3rd spider arrived the glow in the dark version gets announced

yea, now I have 2 oob iron spideys in corners in my home, its funny when people find them

You can make a scavenger hunt of it when you have guests over!

Yes but it was intentional. We didn't know to keep the boxes back when we first started collecting. So there is a couple ones we bought to keep the box this time before they vaulted

That's cool! For some reason I kept most of my boxes, so recently when I wanted to get the four hobbit's autographs at a convention, I was able to put them back in to get them signed. Luckily I have a big closet to keep all of the boxes in. But it is a chore searching through them to find the ones you want....

We keep most of them in box so it is easy to find them for the most part. I keep some at work without boxes and store them at work so that they don't get lost.

I have done the same thing and kicked myself. If I ever have the time I want to go through and put on a spreadsheet all that I own, good for homeowners insurance and hopefully prevent this from happening again.

I really like the idea of a spreadsheet, going to look into it, might take me awhile to put it all down, but if for no other reason than insurance

I can relate to this, more so for the LE 1,000 spider man (even though I won one for $25), but I also had an opportunity to purchase it for $200 since my friend needed cash at the time. He did managed to sell it for $200, but not to me-- it was sold to some random dude on Craigslist, lucky man, I may say-- since its now worth close to what.. $2k ??

I have one myself that I had to trade an SDCC Ghostbusters 4 pack for......at the time I thought I was getting ripped off trading 4 pops for 1! But that piece is one of my top now!!

I am always buying the same pops over and over especially if they sold out. The main reason being FOMO. Someone posts something restocked and I jump and buy it without thinking twice only to end up with 4 of something I really didn't need smh .

I occasionally will check my PPG to make sure I'm not buying a pop I already have . With over 600 funko items in my collection, it's getting hard to remember which ones I already have. I've been lucky enough not to come home with the same pop I already own. But it's only a matter of time.

I love to collect Autographs so sometimes I will buy two of the same pop. One to get autographed and one to keep clean. It always cool to see them side by side.
