Half of me really wants Funko to throw stuff out into the crowd just for the pandemonium that ensues, and half of me knows how terrible of an idea that is.

The thought of Protos (of any kind) being thrown across a room is frightening.

The problem is people get excited and knock into one another...I personally did it my first Funko event and totally by accident so yeah, just handing them out is way safer for everyone. It was scary for Prize Patrol back then

not sure if its been touched on but if you zoom in towards the bottom of the box image you see the word "size"...if thats the case a cool FN shirt will no doubt be included!

My friend who came to my first Fundays with me still talks about the flying protos and being whacked in the head with a How to Train Your Dragon Proto lol

But hey - she caught it! It was definitely wild times. I understand why it had to change. But I REALLY miss seeing the proto table - just to look at everything there, and take pictures of any that I would want to try to track down later.

Depends on the size of the box, but could easily be a shirt and a couple of dorbz

Sadly that isn't a Dorbz on the box, it really looks like one but you can tell it's a retro Freddy by the head

I wish they'd throw a bone to their best line of all time though

I’m on the fence, I have a price alert for flights from Seattle to NYC, they keep fluctuating between $250 - $350; I can bite the bullet on cheap flight & HOPEFULLY get Fright Night tickets & have a cheap flight or wait to see if I get Fright Night tickets & get flight later which might be $400+ since it’s closer to the event…decisions decisions

I am thinking I'm going to do the same thing.... just make sure you can get your flight refunded in case you dont....

It would probably be worth it but I checked on flights and after SDCC it’s not feasible, and at the price of gas, also not feasible :-({|=
