There were none less than LE500. And the only ones that were that low is the metallic Optimus, metallic Loki, Freddy Fresh, Freddy Summertime, Optimus Freddy, Freddy showtime, the blacklight soda Freddy, and the mascot pop which were all from Fundays. The only item from the booth that was numbered, was the Freddy mask which was LE3000

That's so weird that they had nothing less than 500 this year.

Do you think it will be like that for New York Comic Con?

FN is sort of unchartered territory in terms of Freddys and their respective LE counts. We've only had the event once (2016) and while it shares the name from the previous event all indications thus far lead to it being very different.

I think because it's becoming more popular. If they don't have it in SDCC I doubt it to NYCC

Well I know that Funko Fundays will be in a new venue next year so it should hold more peeps as well.

They'll probably need a lot more Freddy's for the event.

I think I'm getting ahead of the conversation but I know that they mentioned that fundays next year would be a bit bigger... I wonder how much bigger??? Hopefully the tickets are easier to get this time around, because I want to say I just got lucky this time around.

this is news to me. the only le100 photo that i've seen floating around was one of a 2021 gitd tron freddy that we eventually saw this year as a le1000. even now some have argued and debated the validity of that image. if you were referring to another freddy that was said to be le100 can you share what character it was supposed to be? not trying to challenge you lol i'm just always intrigued by the rumors/leaks/behind the scenes stuff haha

As others have mentioned its tough for Funko to put out hyper limited stuff as the following grows and grows. I was shocked they had LE 24s in 2019. I thought they might have had some 200's or 300's this year, but I figured 500 was the most likely as there are four sections for Fundays!

It will be very interesting to see how Fundays evolves starting next year.

Yeah that would make sense. Hoping there’s going to be more variety versus larger edition sizes

I get wanting to go to fundays, but is it even still fundays at the point of thousands and thousands of people sitting in an auditorium? I’m not looking forward to this new version as I think it’s going to get more and more corporate and less of an actual intimate fan experience. But you guys know I hate everything anyway, so carry on with your excitement.

I do like the smaller venue better but I think they want to give more opportunities to those that were not able to make it in the past.

I really hope it doesn't lose its magic touch.

Regardless, I'm still going to try and attend.

I'm interested to see how this goes. The bigger venue changes a lot just logistically - I assume the vibe will be very different but can they keep all the fun?

i don't see how they can upscale the event by thousands of people and still have it feel anything like an actual Fundays and not just another Hall H panel.

I understand this sentiment but I'm actually on the opposite end. I love Fundays how it is now but I'm beyond excited to see what it can be. I'm really hoping that Funko uses the increase in venue space and seating capacity to do a bigger and more immersive show with a wide variety of Freddy's that could make fo an almost individual experience. The potential is massive.

I am looking forward to the new venue with more funatics hopefully able to attend. I do have some reservations about it being outside in the sun, but can't wait to see how it plays out.

The first year might have some glitches, which I'm sure Funko will learn from.

But you guys know I hate everything anyway, so carry on with your excitement.

Yeah I agree. I like that more people get to participate but I do like the smaller events.

I'm interested to see how this goes. The bigger venue changes a lot just logistically - I assume the vibe will be very different but can they keep all the fun?

i don't see how they can upscale the event by thousands of people and still have it feel anything like an actual Fundays and not just another Hall H panel.

Oof. We were thinking the same thing - Hall H sort of a trial run? Yuck.

yup, between the Demogorgon (complete with Hall H sticker already) and the fact that the Hall got the previews Fundays usually has, it seems pretty clear to me the direction the company will continue to go.
