I don't care for autographed Pops unless I actually meet the person to have them sign it. Sending it in for signature (that some of them don't actually sign themselves - I have friends who work in PR and have signed for people before) doesn't really get me more excited about anything.

I’m split on autographs I mean yes it brings value to the pop if you’re trying to resell. However if you’re on a budget and an actor is charging triple digit figures just for a meet it makes me want to stay away. Plus I’ve heard horror stories of some actors.

Thats kinda how I feel! There are 1-2 voice actors that Ill get multiple things signed of, outside of that I dont really go out of my way for them

When I was slimming my collection down, I had a hard time picking which Aang and All Might pops I wanted to keep to get signed for when I could eventually meet their voice actors. I learned that when you’re on a budget and you can only get one or two signed, the day before the signing (or right before you leave the house) you’ll have a moment of truth. lol

Just had an existential crisis this week (maybe a little dramatic) - I am going to NYCC and have an opportunity to get a pop signed, but I would have to use a pop that is in a complete set, which means I would have to replace the pop to keep the set complete and of course its become an expensive pop! which makes the autographed pop even more expensive....

what to do....?

:freddy1: get it signed. From my years of collecting you have a greater chance of getting a replacement pop than an autograph. But ultimately it is up to what you feel is best.

For getting pops signed, I prefer having them be ones I know I’m going to keep forever in my set. I also would rather meet the own signing it, makes it that much more sentimental. Autographs can add up quickly, but when they become a reminder of the experience, they’re that much more worth it.

I'm sure many do actually sign them, but I feel like meeting/seeing someone in-person makes for a better/more valuable story for a signature anyways. Just letting y'all know it's a thing lol but if you don't know either way and it's authenticated, does it really matter?

I’m not much on autograph on pops, but I’ve only got Fluffy autographs on the Los Angeles jersey.

I love collecting autos on pops, but it really does add up.
On top of that I am beginning to become more of an OOB collector.

I don’t normally do send-ins, but I had to add Mark Hamill to my signed pop collection when that send in came up recently.
Started collecting Funko back in 2012!

I am a huge Star Wars fan as well as all things Mid-Century! :mickey2:
I love to go to Tiki Bars and all of Tiki Culture

Love all things Freddy and love to learn more about Funko history!

He is coming back to a convention next month for the first time in over 6 years.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he returned to the convention circuit soon.

I feel like if given the opportunity to get a signature, go for it because of the value but I’d likely never resell just because it would also have non monetary value. Would just hope you don’t have to sacrifice an arm and a leg for it.

Agree. I was able to snag the autograph ticket of Mark at the fan expo next month. I can not wait.
