I still buy commons, but like many, I try to stick to my favorite characters.

If it’s a fandom I collect, I have the obsession of being a completist. Gotta have em all common/exclusive or variant.

The vast majority of what I get are commons, unless the only option for a pop I want is something special. I don't care for flocked, and don't see the appeal of glow since technically the pops just don't randomly glow on the shelf by themselves, so not really that special to me. Common is just fine if it's a character I want.

You don't have to buy them all but to stay complete in a certain set, then yes.

I end up buying the whole set. Except for NFT sets because it would be very expensive. Its not bad if you hold out and use hot cash/boxlunch cash for the set.

You don't have to buy them all but to stay complete in a certain set, then yes.

Lol.. I just ordered like 20 plus pops yesterday and it wasn't an insane price using hot cash. NFT though damn.. The grails are over $100 each.

That is a good idea. I have some pops in storage box ss I got from home depot.. I can't remember how many I fit in one box.

Those NFT's hurt. They are really expensive and so hard to hit in packs.

Yeah I see what you mean. I usually collect any commons that I know are a must grab for me. I collect WWE Funko pops so I have to get every single of of them once I see them on the shelf haha But, what i do sometimes see is that when you buy the common, about a month or two later, they come out with a “flocked” version so you are now forced to buy that variant as well haha

My strategy is usually to go for all of the exclusives first just bc some of them sell out and I don't want to miss the opportunity to grab one. But after I've done most of those I try and look for a bundle deal somewhere for the commons in a set. Or if a really good deal flashes for a new release I'll snag it. But yup I still buy commons

It is rare that I see a common pop! that I feel like I need to add to my collection. I feel like I have to be extra choosey because I just don't have that much space anymore.

If its a line that i still collect such as OW, DBZ, or Ad icons yes for commons every other line depends on how cool the mold looks.

I still go for the commons, but only if its something I really really like. The space crunch is real and I save it for the store and con exclusives.

I agree I haven’t bought common funko pops like I used too because of storage now I am for more rare funko pops that I always wanted!

I buy commons when the characters that I like are only made once and are not exclusives. It also helps complete the sets that I truly enjoy.

For me I got more picky in which pops to get only because I’m running out of room . Focus more on exclusives but if a common really stands out, or a favorite character then I’ll get it.
