Anyone buy commons any more?

Heck yeah, especially if it’s in the genres I collect. Horror I’ve got way too many pennywise commons . But I definitely don’t mind and I’ve seen some of the commons look better than the chase variant. I just collect what I like, sticker or not I don’t discriminate!!

I do, but only when it fits in with what I or my husband collects. We have limited space and don't collect Funko as our primary collection, but collection certain lines and love to collect as much as we can from those lines no matter who makes items from them. For me, its Disney and Pokemon. For him its One Piece, He-Man, TMNT, Mario, and Simpsons.

No, I usually wait for the metallic, GITD, glitter, etc variant. Or stick to comic con releases.

I still buy commons but I am overall more strict on what I purchase these days. It needs to be something that I really want, regardless of exclusivity.
In general we are running out of room and are really trying to streamline the collecting to make sure its stuff we want to keep and wont offload to make room for something else in the future.

Depends on the line, honestly. There are a handful of sets that I love so much where virtually all of them are commons (Twin Peaks, for example).

Exactly. It’s honestly a little frustrating when a line is mostly exclusives because I have to hunt like crazy. Bob’s Burgers second wave is a perfect example.

I still buy every version of a pop that fits in with what I collect. Funko doesn't make hardly anything that I collect anymore so I don't have any problems. I may have bought one pop this year, in fact. The Fundays Freddys may be the only pops I've added to the wall this year.

For me, I try to get a Pop! from every convention I go to. I was collecting Marvel through phase 3 of the movies but ran out of space.
