If you like it and makes you happy, as some mention before, it´s ok. You don´t have to give any answer for it. It could be impulse or planned purchase but if its makes you happy It is ok.

Here the main question is after that do you regret of the purchase or not? If not, is a Win Purchase.

Here more personal, I feel more regret of not buying than buying.

I agree with a lot of the folks here. Buy what you want.

My collection isn’t all of one fandom, a lot of it is various one off pieces.

A random collection is still a collection. In fact I love my random pops that I pick up out of pure appeal. Gives me a chance to may get into the fandom

I buy pops cause I like the being fan to certain themes of pops is even better . I buy anime pops and I don’t even know who or what they are I just hug cause if the trend and hype ! Lol

This is the best advice you can give to any person. Collect what you like. Don't worry about monetary value but instead cherish sentimental value. I have a complete set specifically for this reason. I collect what I like.

I, too, have some pops of characters I know nothing about. Just love their sculpts. Specifically some Overwatch characters

Best advice, indeed! Granted...I am in the middle of a cull because of the size of my collection and space constraints...so I'll have to see if they make the cut @_____@

Not necessarily. I think it's great for one to be open minded when it comes to being a fan or not of a certain pop line/series. It's all about appreciating the work and appearance that this art work brings to us...

I think it’s fine unless you’re a major re-seller/scalper. During the pandemic, I was selected to participate in the Emerald City Comic Con virtual booth - my first time ever getting selected for any Funko booth! So to commemorate this occasion, I bought a few of their really limited items even though I wasn’t a fan (or huge fan). At that point, I really wanted to get my money’s worth.

In terms of this. I typically only purchase Pops for things that I am a fan of because I like being surrounded by things that I love. However, I totally think that if you love a pop go ahead and purchase it like a piece of decorative art for your home.

I don’t really see the point in buying a pop you know nothing about. Unless you’re trying to collect all of the pops made. It’s like me buying a pop from greys anatomy even though I’ve never seen it. Please don’t hate me for this post lol

I’ve bought Pops solely for their molds before. But I slowed down on doing that because it becomes too expensive when they have a new awesome mold coming out every day. lol

for Example I don’t watch a lot of Anime but some of those molds are insane and I want the pop just for that
