Exactly. Collect what you like and spend what you can.
Lately for me the budget's been a bit on the low side! Saving up for the holiday season!
That’s smart!
I really need to sell some off LOL!

I hear ya. I do that here & there. It tends to get overwhelming.

It's getting hard to sell though

Old school grails aren't hard to sell if the pricing is right!
Jarrieta13 wrote:Ah, I would want some type of Freddy that's Anime theme I don't think I have seen any tbh! Halloween theme are my favorited so in short no, I want more!

True but I believe it’s all with timing. It’s like an elevator.

Older Freddys with lower counts often sell better!

Facts but even those I’ve seen the price drop dramatically .

Prices seem a bit more agreeable on those at least!

Wanting a Freddy collection was my top priority when I first learned about him and Fundays, but now what was once such a special epic thing is starting to feel so mundane, which is sad and kind of how I’ve been feeling about collecting Funko in general. I dunno, maybe it’s the announcement of yet another NFT drop meaning a couple thousand new Freddys are destined for this world, but it just got me thinking , and I know how much you all hate me thinking so I’ll end it there.

I love Freddys but I was just discussing this with a buddy. To be honest I love getting my hands on the Freddys but loved it when they were harder to get. Almost felt like a reward to get one. You used to have to attend Fundays or get lucky at a convention versus being able to buy one every other week.

I remember a time where the prices were so high that they were IMPOSIBLE to get.

Still practically impossible for a lot of us LOL!
CaseyJones14 wrote:I definitely agree that it's going a little crazy. Here are some stats from the past year...
Fundays - 34
Fright Night - 33
NFT (going back to last year) - 27
Almost 100 new Freddy's in a year is pretty nuts.
LAX_Men4ever wrote:I see Funko totally makes a 100% profit if they sell just Freddy and his variants. If it’s Freddy as an IP character then Funko has to maybe share royalties with the company. So that’s probably why we are seeing more Freddy Funko and Proto the dog pops.

I can't believe it hasn't been done yet. I wonder if it's due to licensing issues or something
