It takes a special person to truly understand Funko collecting!

I gifted my friend a $15 funko pop way back which was Tony Montana now it’s worth a lot more and he still never actually bought any other funkos

Some kids knocked on my door on Halloween and I gave them funko pops
Now I’m wondering if they have more funko pops

Well at least he still has it. I have seen some Pops! that I have purchased for family go from a prominent display to hardly being seen. I am sure he appreciates it.

Nobody I know wants to collect after they see my obsession.

Groot is a great one to start someone off with, him and Grogu are my go to ones to give as gifts.

They see the obsession and then they fall victim...haha

all the time! I’ve given many pops to friends who have a certain interest or fandom.
One example I have a friend who enjoys basketball and gave him the basketball Freddy (not the LE one that’s mine )

How many would you say became collectors after?
ExoSquad4 wrote::cheers: Yes I definitely have given my fair share of pops to friends HOPING that they would eventually start collecting haha. My friends don’t collect as much as I do, but every time they go to a store, they usually check out the Funko section

Lol I don't know if that is a good or bad thing

My BFF is the same - she doesn't want to start collecting, but she's always very glad when I gift her a Captain Carter Funko item - pops, sodas and minis so far!

I call that a win.
