Anime pops are on fire right now!

Is it only me, or is everyone else buying more anime pops recently than any other pop! categories?

It seems like the designs are just killing it!

Anime is always hot but it seems like it's REALLY taken off in the past year or so. I agree, the designs are so good. I honestly think that's the next major gold rush in Hollywood. First it was novels, then comics, then podcasts, and anime is next to mine.

Yes, every time I go into Hot Topic the wall is overflowing with anime pops! Some nice options but also some shows I have never heard about.

Lots of anime fans out there, but also lots of flippers who see dollar signs. It also helps with how many Chases there are - poor One Piece collectors having so many Shop exclusive Chases!

I watch anime but am very picky with what I pick up. When the Demon Slayer line was announced, I got the BL exclusive Tanjiro bc the design was so sick. A lot of the recent pops have been nothing short of amazing and it takes a lot not to get them lol

glad to see the fans of certain animes get such incredibly detailed pops and like Brett said, those One Piece chases :mir1:

Trying to collect Anime is super hard. I try to stick to exclusives but there's so many of those as well.

Totally, yesterdays drop is good example. Gone from cart while 1 min left. guess gotta be quick or go on Ebay.

Anime definitely exploded this past couple of years, very glad to see that this is happening. The detail on the pops look amazing.

The anime pops I think are a little more over the top than most regular pops to me, just based off design and detail. We have quite a few anime pops in our collections, but I never get hung up on trying to complete a line, they’re just to popular and can get expensive.

The level of detail for Anime pops is amazing. The colors used also make the design stand out

We have that Tanjiro as well, great one!

Overall, I agree with the group here - it's just too hard to keep up with getting all the pops for each show.

I’m glad that the anime lines sell so well because a lot of my favorite Pops are from anime - Demon Slayer is a line I am all in on, and I love the Fullmetal Alchemist line. I am so happy though I never started on Dragonball or One Piece because those lines are so hard to complete. I still need more Evangelion Pops, though.

Agreed! I was so happy One Piece won the Crunchyroll Award this year for best continuing series, well deserved! I'm glad Funko is not holding back with all the variants we're getting!

I recently sold all my anime stuff I did not have many anyway only had a few MHA pops. I wanted to down size my collection to mainly Marvel, Sonic, Sports, Rick and Morty.
