Canceled Funko Pops coming back one day?

So how does it work when they're original pops like the Pets line? I can understand pops from movies or shows being canceled due to licensing issues but always questioned the cancellation funko originals. Myths, Legendary Creatures and Pets are some of the cool ones for sure I would love to see more on

I think it came down to sales/retail support for the Pets line.

I had some hope when the Toto and Einstein pops came out. The proceeds went to the ASPCA, I'd like to see the generic breeds come back and maybe go towards a rescue.

I would really like to see the pets line come back. It would also be great if there were more movie pet Pops that benefit the ASPCA.

More dog pops would be awesome would love for a new mold of a German shepherd

More dynamic poses of common breeds would be great.

Funko showed concepts for a Reservoir Dogs line a while ago, and I would like to see those released eventually.

Always hard to count on things that get leaked because other than them being unofficial announcements, there is also the possibility of licensors catching the leaks and the leaks ruining agreements/causing delays for Funko to resolve things. Not saying that's what happened, but there's always a possibility from what I've heard.

It's also possible that Funko didn't get the full shipment for Wondercon so they're holding off until another event.

I wonder what the feel would be if this does happen. The unreleased version is going for a hefty price tag and surely the collectors would feel it. Although Pokemon is just ramping up still so I'm surprised more haven't thought they would do something like that. Especially with Pokemon being a big line

I believe when the Funko Artists were doing panels at cons during 2018 or 2019, they showed some concepts of a Wave 2 for Rebels, but they didn't end up being produced. If I remember correctly it was Kanan with a mask on & an updated Ezra. They also had glams for Kallus which might have been a chase, with his helmet on and off.

Mythical Creatures are technically from the Mindstyle/Pop! Asia line.

They had a fair share of surprise drops last year during SDCC, you can hope for the best this year!

The pop Asia line is still one of my very favorites!! So many uniquely cool sculpts and characters!!

I'd love to see the Batman: Arkham Pops they showed off way back when come to fruition. I believe it was Arkham City Robin, Mr. Freeze, and Catwoman, and Arkham Asylum Scarecrow (one of my favorite designs of my favorite villains). I got excited a few years back when they released the one-off Arkham City Azrael. I feel like there's still enough love for the Arkham games in general that another wave, or even a few store exclusives, could sell quite well.

Actually, now that I think about it, they just announced a video game cover for Arkham Asylum, so there may be hope yet for more Arkham pops.
