Shipping pops
What do you guys prefer when receiving pops? I love when I buy from websites and they either bubble wrap the pop or a sorter and fill the gaps with paper and some stuff

Re: Shipping pops
Depending on the value, I typically just go bubble wrap. But if it's a more valuable pop I go soft or hard stack. But be weary of the hard stacks. They tend to break in transit and in the newer ones, they have a "ridge" on the inside bottom which can dent the bottom of the pop.

Re: Shipping pops
Depends on the value. Could be a soft protector from 7BAP and bubble wrap or it could be a stack with bubble wrap and then overly wrapping that sealed box and placing it into a larger box. I usually go overboard on pops I’m sending out to friends to ensure safe arrival.

Can’t go wrong with the bigger heavier bubble wrap. Dependable and worth it.

Depends on the pops, but I like a sorter and then wrapping around bubble wrap.

I prefer both sorter and bubble wrap, and they can also throw some of that white popcorn foam in there too.

Just don't use bubble warp in the summertime. Its sad that Arizona and Nevada are both hotter than an oven. The bubble wrap has been warping everything that I ordered from Funko Shop. Now I dont mind if its my stuff since I'm OOB but the gifts that I was planning on giving out are ruined

Re: Shipping pops
Also if you really need to make sure the pop gets there safe, you can use an 8x6x6 box and then “double box” that into a bigger one to avoid possible damage.

Hard/Soft protector or sorter with bubble wrap should be the standard when shipping.

I 100 percent agree. Anything less is just lazy, and asking for it to be damaged.

Re: Shipping pops
When I ship, I will always soft stack. Once the value goes to $100, I hard stack it, and always box in box. it sucks to be on the receiving end of a crushed Pop, so I try to make sure that I do all I can to make sure it's not crushed.

Im a NFT fan...I would love them to send us including Pop protector...dun mind paying extra but they seems not really into taking good care of them. For Funko Shop, so far most came nicely packed n im happy with their packaging.

Re: Shipping pops
Definitely a good quality soft protector and lots of bubble wrap. Really just any extra padding to prevent movement or damage. I've seen people use plastic grocery bags as padding and my pop arrived in excellent condition. If it works it works

Re: Shipping pops
Good sized box make sure theres not a ton of space inside so it won’t move around as much. Good quality pop protector and lots and lots of bubble wrap to make sure to fill in the space.

I have purchased many from Amazon and I am always surprised how they come protected. They seem to be different each time.

Re: Shipping pops
Sorter with plenty of bubble. I'd prefer no protector and bubble wrap instead of cheap hard and soft protectors. Cheap protectors tend to crack and make things really bad. I received the glow green freddy yesterday and they used a cheap hard stack. Fortunately it was only the small button damage on the bottom but it's still damage.

Funkos shipping is hit or miss lately. Been seeing several orders come in mixed up or severely damaged. I myself got my entire SDCC order crushed.

Re: Shipping pops
Sorter + some sort of protection to fill the gaps. I also prefer a smaller box versus a single pop in a 6 piece box. I reuse a lot of shipping materials so a smaller box is more affordable when shipping friends stuff.

Just make sure the hard stack if not one of the ones given out at Fundays.

Holy moly that must have been extremely hot for it to cause that. The only time I had damage was a custom Dorbz that was painted, but not correctly primed, painted and sealed. I opened up my package and can tell the Dorbz was really warm and the paint was pretty much melting off.

Re: Shipping pops
Yea. The whole bubble wrap only can easily cause damage just bu wrapping it too tight and not paying attention.
Usually sorter/soft protector/Armor (depending on value) and then some bubble wrap around that so it is not squeezing the Pop.
Or if you really don't like the Pop, reuses plastic bag tossed into an empty, oversized box. Lol

Hard case and bubble wrap as many have said...but then put that in a slightly damaged outer box so the delivery guy thinks they already got to that one and wont mess it up further..
