5) Blackpink (tie) - cheating a little here, too. There were four singles of the members of BP and a Hot Topic four pack in different outfits. Both of them are amazing, although I might give the singles a bit of an edge. All four singles are great, but I do think Jennie and Rose are a little above Jisoo and Lisa. Jennie's hat is so good, it's an amazing sculpt.

I really like Blackpink Funko pop! I can't wait for more pops from other Music Videos!

With so many POPs that are released yearly it's hard to remember all the great releases Funko has made the past year. Instead of waiting till the end of the year, I thought it would be fun to begin tallying what all Funatics thought as the best releases this year. Obviously there are different genres, so it will be interesting to see what everyone's thoughts are on this community. The Pop that got me thinking about this was the PX Exclusive The Last Ronin. The sculpt looks so good and of course the details are amazing! So that's my vote for best PX exclusive of 2023. The best pop I got was my Freddy Funko as Captain America. I got one in my box at Funday but made a major trade to get the 2nd one (Metallic). Looking back i probably should have waited for the price of the pops to drop and probably would have been able to buy it but I wasn't going to risk it when I saw the first pair sell for $2k. I wonder how much that person regrets over paying but $1200-1500 now. Then again some pops hold their value. Like God Loki pop hasn't dropped since it sold out on Funko website.
