Fun questions being posed to the group, very interested to see the eventual 'winners'. Though really, aren't we the winners, that we get to bring home those cool pops??

The best common pop this year, for me, was King Namor from Black Panther 2. The level of detail they did with his headpiece is insane, and made it an instant classic for me. Definitely always going to stay in the collection!

Yes I totally agree with the level of details on that Namor POP! Thanks for suggesting this one. Again with the numerous releases, it wouldn't have been a POP I thought of if I was asked about POPs of 2023 .

I wasn't sure of his release date, had to look him up before I brought him up. There's just too many pops anymore to keep track of!

I really like the Ted Lasso POP!s. The EE exclusive Coach Beard is my favorite, looks great next to the chase Ted Lasso.

I have to put Megazord Freddy as a top pop of 2023 so far! I’m impatiently waiting for the Halloween Freddy nfts as I think those will look amazing too

I feel like there is so much to come in the last quarter of 2023 that it is hard to predict what is going to come.

I have a feeling NYCC has some big exclusives in store for us.

It would also be fun to have a convention exclusive category.

I support this and I also really liked that set and all four Harry Potter sets.

Having been a big batman fan all my life, Freddy as Robin was always a want since the first ever Freddy as Batman was released way back when! I'm so glad it finally happened as part as the Fun On The Run travel edition!

Looks like Megazord was released in 2022. But I agree definitely an awesome pop. I have been debating whether I can add it to my collection.

With so many POPs that are released yearly it's hard to remember all the great releases Funko has made the past year. Instead of waiting till the end of the year, I thought it would be fun to begin tallying what all Funatics thought as the best releases this year. Obviously there are different genres, so it will be interesting to see what everyone's thoughts are on this community. The Pop that got me thinking about this was the PX Exclusive The Last Ronin. The sculpt looks so good and of course the details are amazing! So that's my vote for best PX exclusive of 2023. What are your thoughts on this and what other pops deserve to be considered one of Funko's best of 2023?

Only item I'd add (and this is a split between 2022 and 2023 (although I think it falls into 2023) is the BoxLunch Green Goblin exclusive. Mine hit stores between the 1st and the 3rd of January so it's right on the edge for this year.
