Totally agree here.

It keeps it from being an immediate sell out. Tickets were available for more than a minute (which is saying something for Funko events).

I somehow managed to grab a ticket for my wife, so she will be joining me for our first ever Fugitive party! Can't wait to see everyone there and already thinking to see what our lip sync song will be lol

Yea that's the exact reason why I decided to pass, not having a +1 is a bit weird, we have gone to every con together, every event together even outside of funko. Go to NYCC together and drop off my wife somewhere so I can go to the fugitive party? I don't think it was worth it due to that.

Yeah it feels wierd when ur partner misses out on the cool stuff after dragging them to the grueling line waiting hahaha. I always try to make sure she experiences the real fun part of funko collecting the events the community it's all awesome. Luckily we have met some great friends in the community over the years and she's going to hang with them while I go to the event

*DISCLAIMER* I can not reiterate this enough. This is a gathering of friends within the Funko community. If you are looking to get free stuff to flip & resell, you will be disappointed. There will not be a goodie bag.

Details:

Location: Time Square Hotel (Walking distance from Javits)
Date: Friday, October 13, 2023 (Evening)
Cost: $180 + ticket fees
Included in package: Dinner, Games, & Fun!

Minimum Requirements to Sign Up: 2 Stars as a Funko Funatic Member, 200 Posts (As of 9/1/23) We will check against this. Don't try to be sneaky and use someone else's name.

Process: A set amount of tickets have been set aside for Funko Funatics. This ticket allotment is ONLY for those whole qualify on this forum. Forum name is required and minimum qualifications will be checked against the forum.

Public Tickets: Public tickets will be available closer to NYCC.

Sign up: We will be posting a ticket link next week as soon as we finish crossing the T's and dotting the I's on the contract. Due to the limited nature of seats, we are unable to accomodate any +1's during Funatic sign up. They are allowed to sign up during the public sign up.

Tickets are non transferable and non refundable. As in the past, ID is required otherwise access will be denied.

Lip Sync: Yes, this will make its return. Dust those dancing clothes off, practice in front of the mirror, and get ready to boogie down for some prizes!

Being an active member does have benefits! We want to thank you for those who continue to be active.

Can't wait to hear about the party. I didn't try for it since I have so much going on already. I've been incredibly lucky getting most everything I wanted that I'd rather leave it for others. Besides I'm already spending a small fortune between Funko Booth, Alliance Fest and a TON of autographs.

At first I only got one and the lady missed out.
Like most have said, it wouldn't be the same without your partner.
She is also a funatic and was so glad she managed to snag one randomly.
