Currently, playing Tekken 8 and wish I had picked up some of the Tekken Pops! that were previously released. With the recent string of big fighting games (SF6, MK1, T8), there are so many Pops! I’d love to see from these games.

I feel like I might have told this here before but always happy to wallow in the misery.

In late 2012 I was in my local CB store in Glasgow, Scotland. I’d noticed their display of Funko Pops was growing and had discussed it with my GF that it would be a bad idea to get involved because there was 100 different ones but liked to look at them.

They had in stock a few SDCC exclusives, I was like “oh that’s cool they’ve been able to get a few to Scotland” then I burst out laughing - “look, they have a Cheshire Cat but he’s blue instead of pink … ha that’s so stupid, who would waste £10 on a wrong colour Cheshire Cat”

My GF goes “I think you should get it, like it’s funny” and I laughed and put it back on the shelf.

It’s now worth about £1,700.

So we all have those moments where we remember we saw a pop and we decided not to pick it up.

My question is if you could go back in time and pick up that pop or not trade and sell a pop what would it be? It doesn't have to be a pop thats worth thousands or anything unobtainable it could be a personal grail.

Personally when I think about it I remember when I had the complete Wizard of Oz set, I ended up trading them to the states for a pop that was worth quite a bit at the time but i still think about the set.

Every time I go to a con now, I spend time on the floor looking for any of the Regular Show Pops. I definitely plan on finishing this set, but it sure would have been nice to get them all for $50 total instead of the $2k+ it's going to cost now.

I had ALOT of the OG exclusive when POPS started. I sold some here and there when i was trying to pay off some debt.Some of them i actually even donated to toys for tots. Now most of those are worth 8 times what they were when i sold them. It is what it is though. I buy to collect and not necessarily for value. Gaining the value is just a bonus.
