New LE Mystery Box from Funko

We've all seen the mystery boxes Funko puts out, they're usually pops that have been sitting in the warehouse for some time or contain very few "grails" which are likely to be shared stickers of a convention. Now, they're offering a LE Mystery Box with some of the pops from this year's ECCC. The grail for this box is the LE 500 Batman Manga. I can't find the break down post I saw that had the piece counts of each LE that was going to be in the box. I think I'll sit this one out and see how it plays out.

The way they word it seems to indicate it could be unpurchased lotto winners like shadowheart, bronze wyrm or the recent sonic pop. Then again, if I buy its probably gonna be x4 of that sanrio that didnt sell out.

I’m all for this box, I was wondering what they were gonna do with the remaining unclaimed stock from previous LE drops. Now going forward will the keep doing these boxes every couple months or so to clear remaining stock?

Does anyone remember the Hot Topic mystery boxes that came out around Halloween years and years ago? The chase pop was Alex in a mask from Clockwork Orange. I remember carefully pulling those down from the shelf and feeling around for the nose on that mask which stuck out almost to the plastic window

Still got this one and it also has the paint mark where it hit the plastic on the front.

Confirmed, influencer received one and got previous le hits that were point required and didnt sell out due to no checkout - shadowheat/ art/cyclops

I think this will be a trend moving forward.

The trade-off with what Funko is doing now is that while there is a lottery system, winning a slot to purchase doesn’t necessarily mean people will actually follow through and check out the item.

Oh? What is in that one?

Two of their influencers got sample Mystery Boxes to promote the drop. They opened them and both got a 750 LE Art the Clown and a Krang LE, which are the most in demand, hard to get LE Pops recently.
