Disney Pop Con Exclusives are Awesome!

Postby cliffd64 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 8:02 am

I gotta tell you... The Disney Pop exclusives at the con were quite good! The added bonus of having Ben Butcher, one of Pixar's artists there to sign them was a treat as well! He is a great down to earth guy!

I have to admit that when Pops first made the scene last year in the bubble packaging I was less than impressed. When the boxes came out I took a second look and now think they are pretty cool. So far I have been able to restrain myself to just chase prices and exclusives... And only ones that I like... But even that number is growing fast!

Thanks. I had someone pick one up for me at SDCC and they still haven't told me how much it was.

Is it normal for Funko to not announce most of their exclusives or prices beforehand?

I have to agree with Cliff...those Disney Pop figures are AWESOME! I was trying to stay away from the POP figures...but my restraint is growing weaker and my POP numbers keep growing! However, I waited too long and missed out on most of them. I only managed to get the Mike and Sully and one of the Mr. Incredible Pop figures which I am giving to my good friend Bear!

I don't think so...right now I think they are only available at the Disney stores with no chase pieces. Maybe our POP expert Ron may have more info!

Frick. We were just at the disney store in chicago last weekend for the manchester Soccer game and I thought I would wait and see if I could get them cheaper here. Kinda looked for chases but didn't see any.

Have to check the next time.
