Re: Jack Skellington pop
It could be because this is or was Disney store exclusive...so you'd have to either go to a Disney store or go to their website to get one...I think these will be going to other retailers soon, so you should be seeing much more for sale. The other reason why someone would be asking $44.00 for one is because they're hoping some sucker will pay that much for one, and net them a bigger return on their investment.
Here's one that's much more reasonable, that's available for pre-order:
http://www.puzzlezoo.com/Funko-POP-Nigh ... C4093.aspx
I'm not sure why it says it "talks"...I'm pretty sure none of the Pops talk.
Here's another one on Ebay that you can purchase now:

Re: Jack Skellington pop
It sounds like you've already scored one, but Entertainment Earth has Jack up for sale at retail ($9.99): http://tinyurl.com/7wcatvf
Not sure what their shipping costs are like, but they've got a ton of other Pop! in stock.

Re: Jack Skellington pop
I've come to ignore the Entertainment Earth projected ship dates as they're usually way off. It could be because these are Disney Store exclusives though. I'm not really sure, someone else on here might have a better idea about that.

Re: Jack Skellington pop
I'm digging this thread up because I have a random question.
I just got one today and while I was admiring him I noticed that the white on his skull looks a little off. Then the idea hit me that perhaps he's a GITD even though I had never heard of him being so. I decided to try it out so I charged him next to a light for a while and then took him into my bathroom to see what happens. To my surprise there were little glowing specks all over his head!!! It looks almost like the vinyl his head is made of is GITD, but it has been painted over in white. Has anyone else noticed this? I've never heard of him glowing before.

I'm going to throw out that I got mine from Matt's Cavalcade of Comics in Oregon, and I have them ship them to me $10/figure no tax, and $6 for shipping (order multiple figures to make shipping more worth it).

I've actually yet to have problems with Jack falling over, but I had to MacGyver a way to keep Sally standing, otherwise she is on the floor every 20 minutes . I'm worried that Slave Leia will have the same problem because she also doesn't have much to her legs (although he head is also smaller).

Re: Jack Skellington pop
So, is Jack supposed to glow? Has anyone else noticed that he does, but not completely. I wish I could take a pic of it, but it doesn't show up well enough. It's like it was painted over...

I won't be surprised if he was meant to glow, and I think it would be awesome if Oogie Boogie glows too

i just drill a tiny hole in there foot and use 1 of my 3 3/4 action figure stands and it works perfectly. i was nervous at first to drill into them but it works well for sally, elasti girl and a few others
