1. Will there be a hawkeye addition to the marvel line? if so will it be to the marvel and avengers line?
2. Why cant i find a penguin to finish that part of the DC series?
3. Are there any other super hero plans? ( rest of the x-men etc)
thanks!

Re: noob with some questions
1. We think hawkeye is the mystery pop! and if so it will prob be in the avengers line up
2. The penguin is like the loki version in marvel hard to find. Just keep checking ebay that were I found mine. Supply and demand is the game. amazon has him http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004FC ... PH75SJ5JQ5
3. I think with new Marvel/DC movies coming out new pop! will also. A new xmen movies going to come out next year, my guess Cyclopes, Beast, Storm, Wolverine, n Magneto in new outfits like the black ones.

Re: noob with some questions
Chase editions are limited releases of the figure, they have a chase sticker on the window and are typically in metallic paint
Metallic editions, are anything from chase pieces to show pieces, they have shiny paint. You will also see "flocked" thats just fuzzy (very cool looking actually) so far I have seen a Chewbacca and Sully Flocked.
You can find chase pieces in stores, but its not very easy. They are limited and there are typically others going for the same reason

Re: noob with some questions
thornz12 just a heads up, Thor isn't very easy to locate it seems, but Loki seems much harder at least for me. So far Loki has been my toughest piece to locate :/

Re: noob with some questions
Hey thornz12 , do you plan on getting all of them or are you pickin certain ones you like?
The lucky19 posted is very helpful, Also you should always keep in mind which pieces are more difficult to find even if you already have it, I am sure there are some on here are looking for them as well and will trade/buy them from you.

Re: noob with some questions
I think the Penguin and Riddler POP have both been retired, that may be why they are hard to find.
Some chase pieces glow in the dark. Gremlin and Beetlejuice for example.
There is a flocked version of Gizmo as well.

I've noticed that a lot of og collectors switch to protos at some point. Did you guys get to a point where you said, this is way to many production pieces. Lol

I'm not really sure, I do still collect regular production pieces. I personally started collecting Protos only because I've won them from Funko. Receiving 1 from Funko got me in the mood to try and get Protos from lines I actually really love. That's why I personally love to collect Doctor Who Protos, I'm a Whovian and those are the only Protos I'm really after. I wouldn't be so upset if I came upon a Freddy Funko Proto though.

I'm not working with a Proto collector's budget. The two I own were very, VERY generous gifts from members of this here community. So while that's not quite in the cards for me, I am actively running out of space for my production pieces as we speak. It is factually way too many.

Same, especially with the fandoms we'd love to have protos from.
If anything, we wanted our first protos to be from Funko somehow. Whether it was won from a social media contest like Funko Photo A Day, earned from dancing on stage at a recent con or event, or given by the prize patrol. So that was a huge thing to cross off our Funatic bucket list in the past year.
I do appreciate the community that does avidly collect protos and makes sure to educate people about them, such as asking about lineage, where/how to get them, etc.
