Barnes and Noble has added over 10 more pop's to their website. If you spend over 25.00 you get free shipping. Plus they are only 8.95 a piece. Plus they have Han Solo for those still needing him. Plus a decent assortment of other Star Wars, Disney, Super Heroes and Simpsons. Thought I would pass this along...

Well, if it was one person buying them all, then 'all' was only 2 of each one. And they weren't for eBay, they were keep for awhile to help people out over time.

Of course, that's just speculation and not an actual admission of guilt.

I posted it on funko's facebook as well, someone had posted needing Han Solo... It never dawned on me that they only had one!!! That is crazy... They have a big warehouse... If they are selling them on ebay, they wont get much...

Is it me or did Han Solo supply like completely dry up over the past week or so? I used to see him around, now I haven't seen a single one, even at a store that restocked on Star Wars Pop

No, I assure you it wasn't bought for eBay and there were only two available.

The same can be said about Greedo drying up at the same time. My guess is someone figured out those two have been retired now and they're investing in the future (though I don't see Greedo being as desirable as Han Solo (who shot first)).

I picked up Hans Solo this weekend. The new catalog has him, Loki, and Jam Master Jay missing so I'm getting while the getting is good. Clearly other people are watching that catalog.

Only the toy story woody i think it comes with a base other than that they are all the same and the reason is cheaper is because Bn.com kick Arse ;-)

So, if you're a member you get 10% on-line as well? I've been a member for a couple months now and have never gotten that and just assumed it was only for in-store purchases. Am I missing something?

Yes your membership gives you free shipping at any amount even if its under $25. They email discount codes but I have yet to receive any though email. But you can find them online usually for members they are 20% non-members are 10%

10% isnt for members online, its in-store only. The benefit of a membership online is you get quicker shipping for free.

ok, this probably goes in the 'retired pops' thread, but... help a newbie out.

what exactly does it mean for a pop to get retired? and would it not make sense to say that if, say, penguin and riddler are retired, then so are joker, batman, robin and batgirl since they're all from the same series? would a particular series not immediately be "retired" when the next one is released?

it just seems odd to me that random pops are suddenly "retired" while other older ones are not.

From what I've heard from a friend who tried to order some from me, there aren't set cases that are filled and then there aren't any more. Most Pops are on a rotating stock it seems and get continual release mixed in with older stuff (if I've heard correctly). At some point, several Pops just aren't getting new product made and shipped out (thus the retired status). Or I''m completely wrong.

And FYI, B&N cancelled my orders for the Hans and Thors. For everyone that speaks highly of B&N, I respectfully disagree with you today.

I'd agree to disagree, you need to realize they cant keep a constant live inventory, you weren't the only one ordering. We cant blame them for this. Just to give you an example I jumped in quickly and ordered 4 thor / 2 solos. I am unsure whats going on as of yet because I received a cancellation email for (1) Thor so I logged in to my account and my order status and its a little confusing because it shows something else. So I will wait and see.

Cancelled Items Thor 3x
Open Items Han Solo 2x
Shipped Items Thor 1x

All I cared about is getting 1 of each, if any of the extras arrive, they are for whoever missed out on 1 here if you still need them.
