The problem with Olympic Pops is that the trials are so close to the games that Funko wouldn't have the lead time to make specific athletes (unless it's someone dominant you know should make it like Simone Biles) but I also don't know if they are allowed to pay these athletes for image rights. Once they are paid, don't they lose amateur status? I don't even know if all Olympians in certain sports still need to be amateurs since basketball and tennis definitely have pros.

Basically I am saying I don't know anything and you should ignore me on this one. But a line of Olympic heroes would be amazing - Simon Biles, Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt, Flo Jo, the list goes on and on. How about a deluxe Pop of Carl Lewis doing the long jump?

Some Track&Field athletes I would like are Usain Bolt, Allyson Felix, Jesse Owens, Michael Johnson, Mo Farah.

Apolo Ohno for Speed Skating would be cool.

Yeah, really not feasible to have certain people made into pops around the olympic time line. Much more feasible to see past people since they have already succeeded. Or just do freddy events and have them ready to go.

I love watching the Olympics! I would love to see some amazing action poses of the olympians.

Does anyone remember playing one of those "swing and stick the landing" game similar to the Fantastic Gymnastics game? It'd be FUN for Funko to experiment with moveable "moment" series where the pops can swing back and forth for gymnastics, maybe do some swim strokes for the swimmers, or even a short jump for track and field. This would definitely interest me and I would totally buy them! $\:D/$

So I think you probably have a good point when it comes to current olympains. But I do think they can always do the icons like Phelps, Bolt, and so on. They are done competing so now it doesn't really matter if them having a pop effects their amateur status and the ability to compete in olympics.
