Just curious what people think about Pops based on Olympic Icons?

But Seriously, I'd like to see some hockey players wearing Olympic jerseys ... that would be a big hit!

You could make this an extension of the Ad Icons line and make it Olympic Heroes that have been on the front of a Wheaties box.

I would buy some track and field related pops even from stars outside the US because I'm a huge track nerd, but overall I wouldn't expect them to sell very well at all . Maybe the basketball dream team and hockey may sell, but otherwise I don't see them being very popular unfortunately

As far as the Olympics go, nobody brought on the excitement to me like Michael Phelps. It would be cool to have a Phelps pop!

I would love to see a line of gymnastics legends. Gymnastics is one (if not THE) most popular Olympic sports so I could see them selling.

Mary Lou Retton, Shannon Miller, Nastia Liukin, Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, etc - and since they always have a different leotard each Olympics none of them would look the same.

And if they wanted a massive seller, they could do Olympic Moments and have Kerri Strug's vault.

Probably wouldn't buy these. But I never tune into the Olympics whenever they come on. And then go on a rant upset that they are pre-empting regularly scheduled programing! This is not so much an issue in the days of cable TV and streaming networks. But back in the days of only 3 major networks and a handful of local channels, I hated when my Cosby Show was cancelled for gymnastics.

Then I ask olympic fans if they watch synchronized swimming outside of the olympics, and their answer is always no. Then I ask why they watch the olympics? They say because it's a special occasion and it's only every 4 years. If it was so entertaining, I'm sure a network exec would find a way to put it on everyday like Judge Judy or Steve Harvey Family Feud.

So basically, no Olympics Pops for me

I agree with you both on this one. Don't see them doing well. But if you want them I hope you get an opportunity to get them.
