Would be cool to see Funko do pops based off the actual TMNT toys from the 80s for the Retro Toys line.

the current turtles figures are part of the toys line, and i frankly hate the change over from being based on the tv series to being based off the toys. i'm happy we finally have a Krang, but he would've looked so much better in the television style, and the new toys version of Splinter just looks weird, much like his original playmates figure.

They could do characters like Ace Duck, King Lionheart, and other animal characters from the TMNT toy line. As well as the Triceratons.

Good idea you have, even just releasing one here and there. Doesn't even have to be with a lot of the main characters even.

Yep, I saw the new Splinter today at Target and couldn't convince myself to buy it even though I collect most of the turtle line. I actually like the new April and am considering selling the original one since I'd still be character complete (and don't like it as much), but no way could I with the new Splinter.

I love the toy route that they are taking (yes Splinter is a little strange, but so was the toy!) but it's a little strange that they released movie versions and then skipped back to toys. I'm still hoping we get Super Shredder from the movie and Tokka and Rahzar. As for toys I would absolutely love it if they made some Ridez!

I thought I was the only one. I sat there at Target and stared at it forever trying to convince myself it wasnt as bad as I was making it out to be. Then I went on ebay searching for the old one and walked away.
Love to Collect the 80s stuff. Also chasing the OG Rocky Set. First Funko Purchase was 2012 SDCC.

I found the target Splinter the other day thankfully. I will say he looks better in person. I think what is weirdest are the white eyes. I get that that's how the toy/cartoon was but it's a little jarring for some reason when they're large white pop eyes lol Wish his outfit was flocked :D
