If any one needs a Pop, it's Rick Morranis as Dark Helmet. With an open mask chase and a Desert Version exclusive.

Won't happen due to George Lucas and Mel Brooks having an agreement to never do merchandising for Spaceballs

You can be absolutely 1,000,000,000% sure that such an agreement was put in writing and does carry over. Even if it wasn't initially, you can be assured that Mel Brooks made that provision when he sold the rights to Disney. He's old school like that, so even if it was only a handshake deal when the film was made (I'd venture to guess that there is language in the contracts that prevents merchandise from being made though), it's in writing now. No one outside Mel Brooks, George Lucas, Disney, and a host of lawyers for all parties really know for sure and you're not likely to see them come out and say anything on the topic one way or the other. But the fact is that Spaceballs was made in 1987 and there has been zero official merchandise aside from home video releases, so clearly something is preventing it from happening for thirty years. Hate to be a buzzkill again, but Pop!s are NOT happening.

Been a lot of talk and speculation about a sequel though.

Definitely should be a 6" Pop. Doesn't make sense for him to be the same size as other characters.

Very interesting read, thanks for sharing. I had no idea they weren’t allowed to merchandise anything, which when you watch the film is quite ironic lol hopefully someday this will change and we will get these in pop form
