Training Day Funko POP!
Hey,
Am I the only one that wonders why we haven't received a set of Training Day POP! Yet -- I really need Denzel as Alonzo already. This doesn't have to be a extensive line but you would think this would have came through by now.

Training Day pops would be kinda interesting. But i feel like it may be short-lived.

Denzel is my favourite actor and this is one of my favourite movies of all time. I would need to buy a King Kong pop n put Alonzo pop directly on top. Cus King Kong ain’t got....

Re: Training Day Funko POP!
I love that movie but I dont think there were enough interesting characters to make pops of. It would be a really small series
I'm thinking maybe 4 people... maybe 5 if you wanna do the dude in the wheel chair
Current Top 5 According to PPG 1) SDCC Headless Ned 2) SDCC Metallic Toy Story Alien 3) SDCC Jax Teller 4) Giant Maleficent 5) SDCC Metallic Red HulkI'm just a dog chasing his tail, I don't know what I would do if I actually caught it

I would agree with this statement. I think a better line to do would be a straight “Denzel Washington” line. Would love to see his character from “Man on Fire” made into a pop!

I think the ship has sailed on having Pops from this movie, although the movie is great. Their characters are in civilian clothes anyways so there isn’t much appeal to me.

I agree that this ship has sailed on the movie. However, isn't there a current Training Day tv series?
Thank you everyone for this awesome community

Now that's an idea. Instead of doing TV series or movies.. they can do actor series... There's so many actors/actresses who have dont so many popular roles that they can have their own pop line

That’s my thoughts exactly! Just imagine how many Christopher Walken pops we could have?!

Well they could do a one off if we think it's a interest thing. I do think a Actor pop line would be dope. You could do American gangster, Book of Eli, Taking of Pelham 123, Fences and a bunch of other Denzel movies.. and have that as a line in itself. You would just have it as a series that features the popular movies they starred in. Ice Cube would be a good candidate for something like this as well. However I do think a Training Day series would do well but you would have to make it a very short small run. You only want to have Jake,Alonzo and Baby Joker. Ya know?

Eva Mendes would be dope as well. I'm definitely not going to say that that isn't a good idea - I'm just mostly concerned about a Denzel as Alonzo pop

Re: Training Day Funko POP!
Idk, pops from movies with regular people can be hit or miss. It's hard to make them special and really look like the character. Plus, Training Day is almost 20 years old. Not sure there would be a huge market for it.
I love Denzel, he's from my home town, but he doesn't have a filmography filled with characters that lend themselves to pops, except maybe Book of Eli.

Did they make this a TV show? The film was good but not really a line I think I would collect.
