Looking for some advice here. I just bought two of these baseball bat display cases that I've seen a few people repurpose for displaying Pops.

Question is if I want to add in LED lighting strips around the perimeter of the inside of the display case, is there a video tutorial or guide for how to best do this? Or recommendations from others that have done this before?
I bought this LED light set on amazon with a battery pack vs. an actual AC plug because I thought it would be less cumbersome and easier to just tape the battery to the side of the case. It looks like you can cut the length you need and then somehow connect it to the battery source.

Also bought these light connectors too in case I needed them to connect one cut light strip to another - but not really sure I even need it?

Once you've taped it down inside the interior of the case, is it best to drill a hole so that the cable can extend out and allow for the battery to be taped to the side of the case? I don't think the case will close properly if you try to just run the cable outside vs. drilling a hole.
I'm not very good at this kind of thing so any suggestions or feedback are appreciated. Thanks in advance!
