I agree with a lot of the guys on the list. While a few of them wouldn't be in my list (Hershiser and Eckersley ... and I'm sure some on my list wouldn't be on other people's lists), there's no reason not to make 'em all :bounce:

A few I'd add to this list:
50's Brooks Robinson, Bob Gibson
60s Lou Brock, Pete Rose, Willie McCovey, Rod Carew, Johnny Bench
70s George Brett, Gary Carter (Beat Everyone in the All-Star Votes for many years), Ozzie Smith
80s Rickey Henderson, Don Mattingly
90s Derek Jeter

Yes... Henderson and Mattingly!! Had Yankee tshirts with #24 and #23 when I was a kid. Donnie baseball was my favorite player when I was a youngster. If pops were made, I would add them to my Judge and Stanton Pops.

These are some great additions! There have been so many talented players throughout the history of the game I could see this being a line that goes on for many years.

It would be a smart move for Funko to try and get the licensing from MLB and the player association. People that are fans of the game buy a lot of memorabilia ... it would be a good way for Funko to get more people into collecting Funko products.
I'm Greg. My son is "RSVHockeyDude". We collect Funko products together.
Pop! Count = 3133
Pop! Pez Count = 197
Funko Soda (My New Favorite): 762 different Sodas including Intl Versions
Other Funko Products (Hikari, Vynl, Wobblers, etc) = 87
Proto Count = 14 Pop (Mostly NHL; a little of Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, Disney, The Simpsons); 4 Soda (NYCC Freddy)

I agree... I'm sure a lot of us that grew up playing little league / liking and playing baseball, collected baseball cards. Pops is just an extension. Hopefully they expand the Pop giveaway at more ballparks like they currently did at SF, Tampa Bay, Seattle, Cinn, etc. Since I now live in Az... the next one should be a Dbacks one. Maybe go back in history and do a Randy Johnson or Gonzo one.

My childhood hero #33 Jose Canseco should be in the next MLB line. It would be the only sports POP I would ever own.

Definitely I rather HoFers than active players. And if it isn't too much to ask, Negro Leagues players would be great too.

It always starts with just one. :) Maybe the "chase" for Canseco should be one of him mashing forearms with his fellow younger and leaner "Bash" brother McGwire or one of him where the baseball is bouncing off his head into the outfield seats... sorry, I had to mention it. ;-)

HAHA. If chases are involved of that nature then strike my "only one" comment.

How about a Monochrome Babe Ruth or Lou Gehrig?

Those would be GREAT! The question is, would they be the only versions; or would there be a colored and monochrome. I'd be inclined to say they should only do monochrome only on the really old guys!

Agreed! =D>

When I read monochrome, the first player that comes to my mind is Honus Wagner.

Just saw the Ken Griffey Jr pop that they are giving out at the Seattle Mariners game. They look awesome. Have him in his signature batting stance. Just wondering if the Rookie Jersey is 1000le ( in description it says this) but the sticker says le100.

We need some legends of the game!
Piazza, bonds, hershiser, lasorda, Clemens, Nolan ryan, etc
Funko can even make Chase variants with alternate teams they played with set records.
