Funko - We Want Spawn Funko POP!

There is no one in the world that would want this line more than me. However, I’ve never asked or wondered because the chance of McFarlane licensing Spawn to a competing toy line is highly unlikely. But, stranger things have happened, so if it’s a possibility, it’s an insta buy for me. The entire line (Wynn, Wanda, Cyan, Violator, Clown, Cogliostro, Sam, Twitch, etc).

With McFarlane having so much in the toy game he may by release a spawn pop. I could see him putting some vinyl figures out like skybound did for invincible and comic Rick Grimes

Bro!! Back in the day when the action figures came out, it was Spawn, Medieval Spawn, and Violator(clown).. I think that would be an awesome start and pay homage to Mr. Mcfarlene’s original vision. That is a FANTASTIC idea. You know I'd be happy with Spawn, Violator and like a GITD Spawn as a store exclusive even. I hope Funko makes this happen

The upcoming new movie release is the best chance we have, but as others have said, I don't see McFarlane agreeing to it. Still, I would love to be wrong!

I been wondering why Funko doesn't go for any other comic book characters besides the "Big Two" more.
Image alone has some really cool beings. Sure they've done a few TWD and Saga

There would definitely be endless variants. Image has a rich history though, so from a creative aspect, there would be so many options!

Never say never - It could be a merger deal where Todd McFarlane had input in the design of the Funko figure - Kinda like a Jim Lee situation but it would be a Todd McFarlane thing. It would make the Comics line really stick out.

Ive seen a few good custom Spawns here on the board. If this happens, it would be great to see Witchblade and the Darkness.

Would definitely love to see the Spawn line in Pop! form. There could be so many characters, so hopefully McFarlane would be willing to strike something with Funko.

Todd has done collabs with other companies before. I feel like funko would hit it put the stratosphere with a spawn pop. It would look soooooo gooooooood

Looking back through this thread is really solidifying to me - just how much that this right here needs to happen. Somebody get McFarlane on the phone and tell him we need to bring his aesthetic to POP! along with his property!

I feel McFarlane figures aren’t competing with Funko Pops, so it’s quite possible Spawn Pops will be a reality one day. There’s so many cool designs that could come from that line.

WoW a Spawn line would be so amazing. Never really took the time to think this one out due to the fact that over all the past 20 years spawn figures are so well done by Todd M toys that in a Pop! Form may cite it down but then look at the Zombiefied Pops. Funko let’s get this line rolling.

I do wonder for difficult licenses what tends to be the issue if it's just a flat out "no" or if it's something like "Sure, but I want X dollars and Y percent" and perhaps X and Y are just not feasible.

Man that’s what im saying - I can just imagine if there was a collaboration with funko concept artists and Todd Mcfarlane as a deluxe Funko pop - his aesthetic would translate into something crazy for funko pops and they could make so many crazy variants

Normally I would think that McFarlane would say no since he owns his own toy company, but I remember a few years ago he said he tried to work a deal with Mattel so that they would do a Spawn figure and he would do a Batman figure so he sounds like he is up to doing licensing deals. Maybe he would let Funko do a Spawn Pop and then McFarlane Toys could do a hyper detailed and realistic Freddy Funko lol

Yeah I think Mcfarlane is becoming more flexible as he gets a little older and wiser. I actually seen his Batman figure in the store recently and it was every nice. I’m sure if he lit his aesthetic into spawn it would be insane. I’m sure he is up to licensing spawn; he has done it before for several different retailers.
