Throwback Pops!

Postby GuruGuy128 » Sat Nov 10, 2018 10:38 pm

I have an idea for a series of Pops that focus on a fad or trend that happened way back when. Fads like the Hula Hoop or Cramming into the Phone booth. There could also be a Pop of a Car hop.

I like this idea! I'm a fan of the movie moments/display window type pops, and I think this would be a fun and unique concept for that sort of style figure.

Agreed as this could be something of fun and draw back in some old school funatics. :freddy3:

I had a similar idea to something like this but more like a POP "Culture" kind of line..like anything that may stand out or was a big Pop culture kind of moment..like the Janet Jackson Stones cover, David Hasselhoff singing on the Berlin Wall..Milli & Vanilli winning a Grammy :)

Imagine the celebrity version. George Foreman selling grills. Hulk Hogan selling Thunder Mixer. Suzanne Somers selling Thighmaster.

Really great concept, but I would imagine licensing would be a major pain.

Liking all the ideas. But yeah, I'm thinking it could have licensing issues. But hey, they were okay with album covers so I guess it is all doable.
