I feel the same way. I'm definitely looking forward to the next collector corps box! I can't wait for the X-Men 97 Series to finally get released.

100% on both! I was seriously considering canceling my sub as there was a long streak of boxes I didn't enjoy. Hoping the X-Men box is fire!

I haven't subbed for the MCC box since Sept of 2020! I was surprised it has been that long, but nothing has really jumped out at me since then...until now. Either that or there was something and I missed it, haha. I'll have to look.

None the less, I am very interested in this line, even thought I admit I'm not super familiar with X-Men 97.

Xmen 97 will be a continuing of the 96 animated series Xmen The Animated series. If you have not seen it you can stream it on Disney+ it's one of the greatest animated series of all time and some of the best versions of the xmen characters to ever made

Disney just delayed the X-Men 97 series to next year. I wonder if that will affect the Pops other than the Marvel Collectors Corp box.

Here comes yet another Thor Pop and we still haven't seen a Gambit or Rogue or Jubilee and the list goes on and on. And we've seen this time and time again with countless other Marvel characters. Thor has over 10 versions. I'm happy for his fans but what about the rest of us? DC fans get new Pop!s every month it seems!

Why haven't we seen for example an updated white costume Storm or a classic black costume Storm? Mr. Sinister, Omega Red, Magneto, Nightcrawler, Mystique, updated Wolverine, Polaris... I could go on and on.

Does it come down to licensing? Why (for example) would it be a struggle to get license to do another version of Archangel when they've already had permission to create him? Why would Marvel say yes to a Storm, Psylocke and Phoenix Pop, yet say no to Gambit or Omega Red?

I need these in my life!

I agree that we need some more variety. Yes there has been influx of the same character but thats the demand. However. What I wouldn't do for a glow in the dark powers jubilee pop or a action posed nightcrawler who is my favorite. I'm not sure if its licensing issue because they've given us phoenix, Deadpool, etc. For now I'll just keep praying that one day I can have my xmen pops pose shot for shot of the TV opening

Super pumped for more from the upcoming xmen 97 animated series. Also would be sweet to get House of X and Powers if X funko pops from the recent Hickman run in the comics.

I’m the same as you, I didn’t like anything the Amazon box had to offer up until now. I might have bought a box within the last 3 years but I sincerely doubt it.

Yeah you can skip until you see a box that you want

Once I see the spoilers, I skip the box immediately so I don’t get charged. Although there has been times where I do get charged regardless if I skipped the box or not.

Now thinking more im more now wanting pops based on the xmen movies. Yea there's a couple but there can be much more. especially Jubilee which is my favorite behind rogue. There's so many ideas for packs. I'm just praying now really need more xmen in my collection

I wish they were more fun and actually felt kinda exclusive - I try not to look at spoilers so I can be surprised when I get the box, but I'm glad that I saw this one because I just skipped this box. I've skipped the last 2-3 at this point.

I have to admit, the sub box Rogue is weird, she has a lot more white hair than she should, and she's not allll that different from the regular common that already existed. Jean looks good to me, brings back memories of that version.
I do wish the box had Morph or Sunspot all energized up though.

I am totally fine with the 97 line, so I'm still sitting here wishing for a lot more 90s comic versions of characters I want more.

I like to list a ton of them, but getting the same characters over and over is a little frustrating. We need new characters please!!

I am going to attempt to get all of the X-Men 97 pops, if I can, so these two were a must have, plus the Wolverine pin and shirt were also must haves. The only useless item for me is the sticker, will go into a box with other stickers I don't do anything with.

At the end of the day though, I really just want NEW characters(and a few more Wolverine variants we don't have), but I'll get some of them anyway when I can.
